Likes

Sports ground and sports room are very good also with a supportive and friendly staff and coaches.
Library with a vast series of books and favourable atmosphere with supportive library staff.

Dislikes

College infrastructure is not so good as classes are under teen shades.
College located in Govindpuri and that area is very congested and unhygienic , also there is a wineshop located just opposite to college which is not good
Basic amenities such as water cooler and wifi are not working most of time.

Course Curriculum Overview

B.Sc mathematics honours is completely theoretical education based course.( Nothing application type). It is completely different from maths studied till class 12 so ot takes time to adapt. It opens way for teaching or research further. Only change i want in curriculum is they should also include some applications of it in syllabus.

Class Size: 58Course Fees: INR 9500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

For first year, ?7565 paid during time of admission In second year ?9915 In final year ?7965 paid as fee. In which tution fee is only 180 rupees and rest includes college development fee, facility service charge, university support fund etc. Its same for all students. There are some scholarships also available provided by govt. and also by some privates for meritorious or economically weaker students

Campus Life

"Leothrixx" the annual fest of college. It is two days event organise in March evert year. Also a DANDIYA fest is organised during NAVRATRIS every year. There will be a sports event of all departments evert year in college. There are many societies other than departmental societies for extracurriculars such as music society named "DHUN" , Theatre society "DHWANI" , debating society "tark" , NSS, dance society "mayra" etc.

Admission

I applied only in Delhi University and got this college in first cutt off. Was unable to get any north campus college because can't reach cutt off. Then, i chose this college because it's the only science college of Delhi University and ranking of college was also good that time .

Faculty

2.5

Department Faculty is fine and very supportive. One acn approach them anytime during collegetime. Exams are on basis of semester system i.e twice a year (in december and june).Difficulty level is moderate having 25% marks for internal assessments and 75% for written examinations. Almost 95% students pass exams.

A college review full of pros and cons

Course Curriculum Overview:

The core subjects are very well divided, the main problem arises with the other additional subjects which requires efforts as same as the other subject even though they don't hold any importance as such. Maybe reducing other subject or making them practical based instead of theory based would be helpful.

Though i think maths is a great subject as it is what gives birth to every field but within course it self its all theory and pure maths i thing real application would be appreciated we do have practical for 1 subject each sem thats it should he more.

The Life of A DRC student

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college are moderate as the average package is ?6.5 lakhs and the highest package is around ?23.02 lakhs . Many prestigious companies like delloite, accenture have held various placement sessions in DRC and it's overall a good to place for companies to get high skilled students. The placement cell is very active too which makes it possible for our college to get many internships and placements opportunities.

i think it's very outdated and not of any practical use unless you go for research and scientific fields of science. it does not prepare much for the real world and current market but teaches about biology and chemistry which helps sometimes. the frequency if exam is fine.

Campus Life:

The Fest organised by this college is Priyadarshini and the annual fest Rajnigandha. The Fest are not great in comparison to other du college and are not that much celebrated. There are many different kinds books present in library like literature,Hindi, Chemistry, Maths, zoology, biology, botany, political science, History Geography the books are only alloted till 12pm and only for 15 days after that you will be charged if book is not returned Sports and Extracurricular are good but classrooms are not that great most projectors in classrooms don't work . There are many good societies in college like jamini the art society and others but joining has caused students to leave their classes which affects them academically

KMC- Path to learn and grow

Placement Experience:

The placements cell Avenues regarding the placement offers coming to the college. Major companies of the job market come to the campus for recruitment like KPMG, deloitte, zepto, EY, ZS Associates and many more. The students from the final year itself gets eligible for placements. Around 30-40% students get the palcements through the placement drive. The highest package during the last palcement season was around 18 to 20LPA, while the average was 7 to 8LPA. I will certainly go for higher studies in operational research.

ANDC= The most average old school type campus life

My college is ranked 18th in nirf 2024 in science and 9th in university of delhi and a average campus with good faculty. this my 5th prefrence on my prefrence list i want to take admission in atma ram sanatam dharma college but the crowd is the college is not so good i dont upgrade my college and freezes my seat. in du admission taken on the basis of cuet exam scores and then we have to fill csas portal for du . i dont applied for any other college...Read More

Good for science courses but infrastructure and surrounding area is not good

I got admission to this college through cuet. I only applied to colleges of DU. Rather than ANDC I applied to Hansraj college of Delhi University but I did not get admission because my marks did not clear the cut off score of that college as Hansraj college is of North campus and has high cut off score.
