IIT Kharagpur is the best!

I liked studying about electronic circuits that is why I took this course. There are labs every week and there we learn about the real world applications of the concepts. They can teach us c++ or java rather than c proramming language which is considered to be a low level language these days. Three exams are held every semester. Class tests helds once before mid semester and once between mid semester and end semester and mid semester of this semester are occuring in september and end semester in november.These tests are moderate.

My college offers a variety of internship opportunities across its departments. These programs are usually 8 weeks long and are a part of academic curriculum.Companies like Google,IBM and Amazon offers internships here. These internships focuses on research,product development and practical applicatins in fields such as computer science and engineering.

Students become eligible for campus placements after 6th semester of the course.A lot of companies like Airbus, Bosch, Ford, Rubik, Google, Apple visits here and total of 75.15 percentage of ug students got placed last year.I am planning to become a great engineer after getting the degree and later on will do a start up.

I am currently paying 313500 per year as total fees but will be paying 180168 per year after the verification of the income related documents.The tuition fees is 200000 per year and caution fees is refundable and 6000 as one time fees.Registration fee is 800 per year.Lab fees is 1600 per year.Other one time non refundable charges makes upto 5700.Insurance premium is 2500 per year and student's botherhood fund is 200 per year. SC, ST and students other than SC, ST having family income less than 100000 gets a full tuition fee waiver and students having family income between 100000and 500000 will get a two third tuition fee waiver.In merit cum means scholarship students get a hundred percent tuition fees waiver and monthly 1000 rupees.

There are two fests that are held here one is spring fest in third week of january and other is kshitij in last week of january.Books are easily available in library.Facilities and technological provisions within the classrooms is great.Sports and extracurricular activities offered in the campus is also great their coaches and materials are also great.There are a lot of social groups and clubs here which provides exposure to the students to the other activitiess like acting and consulting.

We are provided 1 fan, 1 bed, 1 ethernet port, one almirah for each of the roommate and the rooms are well lit.We live 3 students per room.Meal quality is good.There is a lot of variety in the menu of the food.Hostels are quite affordable here.Registration process was also easy and the staff was quite supportive.

I liked this college because of its location and its faculties which are world class.I applied in other courses of other IITs as well but could not make it there because my jee advanced rank was less than the required rank.Eligibility of getting admission in my college is to clear jee advanced exam and pass the 12th class by a minimum of 75 percentage.

There are 147 students in our batch and we have got 1 professors and thier teaching assistants for each subject.Faculty here is quite friendly.They are easily approachable via thier email id.I liked every faculty here as their teaching method is great.There are two class tests per subject and one mid semester exams and one end semester exam.They are averagely tough.Course curriculum is great and up to date.
