Likes

College has a huge ground which include basketball court, volleyball court, cricket ground and football ground
Teachers are very friendly , polite, and kind in nature
Social life is good. Students are not rude and seniors are too friendly

Dislikes

Infrastracture is small buildings are too old and need few improvement
There was drinking water problem in the beginning which was resovled
Placement is not up to the mark. I dont think that anyone from this college will get a huge package

I had non medical in my 12th grade and then i switched to BA economics hons . So it was bit difficult for me to adjust Economics subject are easy but stats and maths are quiet dificult. One with good understanding of.maths should opt this course as this course has a good scope in pvt sector

Internships Opportunities

Every year college provide summer internship program opportunity . In which one can apply and can get a internship with stipend upto 12000 but for that you need a minimum of 8 cgpa otherwish you will not be able to apply for internship

Fees and Financial Aid

For 1st year my fees was rs 12700. Now I am in 2nd year and this year my fees is rs 13095. There is a slight hike in college fees. Fees is equal for all category. There is a scholarship program too. But i dont know the exact amount of scholarship.

Campus Life

Freshers party is held every year by student union and small festival and function are held regularly by different clubs Library is good and has h wide variety of books Technological provisions are not good , classroom do not have ac and smart board Clg playground is excellent and storeroom has equipments for every game College has many societies and clubs , one can improve their personality by joining any one of them

Admission

For delhi university CUET exam is conducted and after the result is announced we have to make a priority list of college in which we wish to take admission. CVS was my 12th ranked clg in my list I scored 500 out of 800 and cut off for other clg was high due toh which i was not able to make through them For CVS general category require around 700 Obc- 460 Sc/st 380 Out of 800

Teachers are friendly and one can anytime approach them for doubts I personally like mamta mam She is kind and very friendly with students she taught maths in 1st sem There was no faculty which i did not like There are class assessments , projects, assignment for interal marks and a 90 marks sem exams are conducted for final result

Actually the 3 discipline core subjects are truly important and relevance to my course. However the skill enchantment course and value addition course, even EVS taught this semester barely helps. That sometimes even felt like a burden. Still choosing the right GE, major is useful. I enjoy that... going through.

Reality Check

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have a keen interest in theoretical subjects. Even in my school time, I liked theory subjects more than practical or numerical subjects. This is one of the reason I chose this specific course. Another reason is that I like reading non fictional novels. At the age of 15, I started reading novels but after diving into this course I'm liking the fictional novels too. I don't think this course needs to improve anything. It is in it's best form at the point.

MY COLLEGE - HEAVEN AND HELL

Placement Experience:

I think students become eligible for campus placements in 5th semester as now they are mature enough to be given such responsibility and to secure their future. I am not aware about the number of companies and offers. I am also not aware about the highest or lowest package offered but the average package for my college is ?6.5 lakhs per annum. The cgpa should be above 7.5 for better chances of getting placements. My plan is to get a good college placement in starting of the 5th semester.

I knew a senior already and asked her about the college she said teaching staff is good for which I can totally agree..there are a lot of assignments and stuff but at last it's helpful helps to gain exposure, knowledge and experience If you participate in all the activities which happend then it will be really good and helpful But the syllabus is very vast and with activities and assignment it gets stressful For the first year first sem it was very hectic as the exams were in really few gap but it was fine in second sem It is advised to try to study side by side atleast a little bit

Consequences after getting admitted in DU

I gave the CUET exams to get my college. CUET exam is basically an entrance test for bachelors degree which eligibles you to all the central universities of India. You have to appear for four domain subjects that you have studied in your class 11th and 12th. You can apply for any course irrespective of it's connection with the subjects that you jave studied earlier. Based on your cuet score you will be eligible for different courses. The cutoff is really high for Delhi University starting from 600 for more most of the courses starting from the lower reputed colleges. You do get reservation benefits. The application form are generally out in the month of April. The exam has nothing to do with your class 12th percentage until you have passed the class. The only demerit I find is the late admission process. By the time you get the results of the exam, other top colleges' admission are done by then....Read More
