placements for the student is quite okk in iiit ranchi
faculty is super friendly they gonna help you in your projects
hostels are maintained nicely and clened weekly twice which is okk

Dislikes

permanent campus is not present due to which there are more problems
food also is not too good which is not preferable by me

there are so many reasons i have choosed iiit ranchi and the reasons are as follows the travelling is okk in my case because the other colleges i have got are more far than my house the scholarship i have get in this college is good so i have choosed this college

The fees you will pay is upto 3 - 3.5 lakhs,There will be some scholarships provide by the college,the students sc and st students will get more benifits by the college because college is a notional importance college

Campus Life

there are some technical fests like some hacthons and some cultural events also present in the college the library also contains books which are help ful for the smooth college academics tbhe lab facilities and faculties also super helpful and there are aslo sports events present in the colleges clubs also present which will give more exposure to the students

Hostel Facilities

the hostel is good but due to the college doesnt have permanent campus there are some problems you need to face in the college the meel quality and tasste is also not good and the faculty is also doesnt involve in mess only students will handle the mess and we need to live in the hostels only no pgs are allowed

Hostel Fee: INR 70000 per year

Admission

As i have mentioned in the previous sheet there are many reasons one is traveling and others are climate conditions which is suitable for myhome town climate he admission process is simple you need to write jee mains and qualify with good percentile you will be alloted seat in the josaa counsiling process through you can get fdmission in iiit ranchi

there are almost 60 to 50 students in a class and for each there are 7-8 faculty members which is okk the course is also okk and designed accordingly by the speed of the student the exams are quite difficult so that students are slightly unable to focus on extraactivities

INSIGHTS OF BIT MESRA

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem onwards students are able to face placements. Comapnies such as ZS, Deloite AB in bev microsoft visa comes here and normally takes 1-3 students. The highest package may vary from 40-50 lakhs and average is 4-5 lakhs. Internships opportunities are quite low here. In chemical enginnering only till now out of 120 students 20-30 got placed including out of campus palcements. I am hoping to do mba after pursuing the degree as there is less comapny visit for core branches.

Great college if the money is not a problem for you!!

Placement Experience:

Placements are good for core branches here at Bit mesra, as compared to other colleges, about 90% students got placed as per I know from seniors, the highest core package is around 20 LPA, main top recruiting companies for core chemical are reliance, jindal and many more!

Name of the company I forgot but nvidia amazon comes each year and take some students Paypal offered 4 students 28 lpa and Swiggy gave 2 students 35 lpa Nvidia gave 2 students 25 lpa Highest package data is not out as of now Avg is good this year I guess it's was 12-13 lpa Percentage is I guess reality 60/150

Raw and real side of NIT JSR

Placement Experience:

One of the major advantage of my college is it's placement percentage and average package. For my branch placement percentage is our 80% and average package of my branch is 16.5 lpa this year. Highest package last year was of 1.44 crore from a company rubirik. I plan to work in a semiconductor manufacturing company like Texas instruments and qualcomm.

Life in NSU

Placement Experience:

Students can get placement from there 5th semester and if they perform well in the company they get internship they will get placement in there only. Many companies visits but some famous companies are Reliance, Byju's, Ujjivan,Justdial, Tcs and mamy more. Planetspark is the company which gave highest package of 8lac rs to a student. Student without backlog gets placement easily. I am planning to do a job and save some mony and do my pg so that i could get better opportunities in jobs.

Choose Future, not Present

I had several other options like NIT Hamirpur, NIT Durgapur, BITS Pilani etc... Now in all the tier 2 nits i would have got either metallurgy or civil at the best but in BITS Pilani i could've got ENI but the fees there was 33 lkh for all the 4 years so it was not affordable for me. This was the best option keeping in mind my rank, roi and fees. You can get here by applying for jossa or csab after you have given jee mainsa and you will get a seat if you get good rank....Read More
