Course Curriculum Overview

curriculum is according to the latest industry trends and the teching methods are very practical so that the student is ready to take up any challenges the difficlty level for the exams are fair i guess and we can easily ace them i paid intrest in the classes

Class Size: 250Course Fees: INR 262500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

the semester fess of my college is around 1.32 lakhs in which hostel fees is 15k and mess is around 18k and institute fees is 10k and tutuion fees is 90k.the batchmates can also avail the scholarships as per there domicle state offering government scholarships

Campus Life

the annual fest were not very freuent and thats one of the down side of not having your own campus plus the hostels were good as we w=were provided the goventment buildings but there were certain restrictions as we were not in our own campus

Hostel Facilities

so every student have alloted a room sharing with another student basically a flat with 4 rooms and 8 students with a hall and kitchen you cant opt for pgs as u have to take the hostels it is complusory

Hostel Fee: INR 30000 per year

Admission

so the college that i choose was the bet ic ould get with my jee ranks and it is a national level college under mhrd so it has its own perks and reputation and other colleges at the similar rank can iiit bhagalpur and iiit una

Faculty

there are many faculties which are highly ualified every one coming from iits or foriegn universities . there are 8 sems and in every semese=ter we are having 1 mid term and 1 end term and we get cgpa out of 10

Night Life

so we used to visit lalpur chowk after our classes it s the main area where we can get anyting to eart to shop and ranchi is full of greenery so we have lots of mountains to climb and waterfalls to divein plus it is the hometwon of dhoni so cricket matches are also there

Life in IIT (ISM), Dhanbad

Remarks:

Reason why I preffered this college was that I had applied for a few colleges out of which I got selected in this. To take admission in this college we were supposed to have scored 75% marks ( 65% for SC/ST students) in 12th grade. They admit students to the course on the basis of JEE Advanced scores followed by JoSAA Counselling. Admission for the course generally starts from July. The admission process is simple. I preffered the online mode where I filled my application in the official website of the institute and attached the required documents. Then I paid the application fee and submitted the form.

My 1st Encounter with the College

Remarks:

Outstanding faculties having a good depth of knowledge.. Well interactive. Ideas and Knowledge is easily projected by them. They follow a stringent standards while conducting experiment, viva-voice in labs. Their teaching style and attitude is good and generally the language of interaction between student and faculty is English. So in a nutshell the faculty is up to the mark and satisfactory.

Choose Future, not Present

I had several other options like NIT Hamirpur, NIT Durgapur, BITS Pilani etc... Now in all the tier 2 nits i would have got either metallurgy or civil at the best but in BITS Pilani i could've got ENI but the fees there was 33 lkh for all the 4 years so it was not affordable for me. This was the best option keeping in mind my rank, roi and fees. You can get here by applying for jossa or csab after you have given jee mainsa and you will get a seat if you get good rank....Read More

IIIT ranchi: My experience

I had applied to LNMIIT and my seat was confirmed in it, but I opted for this college because the placements was a lot better in this college. I got a rejection from BIT mesra, CSE as I didn't get the appropriate rank in JEE mains. The admission process was very straight forward. I had to give JEE mains exam and I got a certain rank (about 36k). The cutoff for my college was 50k (for Electronics, IOT branch) to 28k (for CSE core).
