I choosen this field of knowledge because I thought that it could be the one of the most booming sector in upcoming time so I opted for this. The curriculum is bit deviated from the real world environment because the curriculum is mostly focused on the conventional thoughts and best suitable for the research domain. In a year there were two Semester examination where each Semester includes 3 internal examination along with the external or pratical exam

For Various companies such as TCS, COGNIZANT, WIPRO. KGEC is the prime institution other than these many companies has a regular recruiting visit such as SNAPDRAGON, MEDIATEK, HALDIA petrochemical, TCS mining etc After the completion of the ILP or Training the companies will post you onsight projects

I had being eligible for the Oncampus placement from the starting of the 3rd year along with this I was eligible for the internship from 3rd year Various companies visit our college every year and each year around 300 students gets placed with and average record of 90 percent placement record The highest package varies from 20 lakhs to 46 lakhs of you college with an average record of 950000 Many of the students has opted for the higher studies and seeing their on reasearch that's why they have given GATE

Fees depends upon which stream which you got selected for example if you are in CSE department it is 6000 per Sem and for IT it is 12000 per Sem, while for other streams core branches it is 3000 per Sem and for Electronics it is 6000 per Sem

There is annual helded feast organized in this college named as ESPEKTRO. This is the most awaited feast for each of the students There are various clubs in this college such as acting, dancing, entrepreneurs, photography, coding, mechanical club etc There is a sporting club in this college and every during the ESPEKTRO feast various sport activities are helded

In the hostel each room has alloted with 3 persons along with 3 single bed and studing table along with the wifi with 24*7 availability The meal are not upto the mark according to your expectations but it's eatable some how and if you doesnt like the food then there is canteen in each hostels There is simple registration process while opting for the hostel, you have to fill up the form and then if eligible then you will be allocated to any one of the 4 available hostels The PG are also located nearby the college within the 1km radius of the college

There are two different ways through which you could get admission. One is by giving the WBJEE exams for 4 year B.Tech and JELET exam for 3 year B.Tech lateral entry. Instead of this there are exams conducted for MCA entry and GATE for M.Tech There are reserved for the specific class if people belonging to the minority which has been passed according to the Indian Government such as SC,ST,OBC. The difficulty level of the exams was tough enough which has made the exam hard to pass and let the Student to learn instead being cheating

The faculty to student ratio was 1:7 which is very prominently good for providing a good quality of education The faculty has years of teaching experience and their way express their thought and make the students understand the impossible in less and effective efforts Students can interact with the Professors when they are being asked or in the free time
