What Students Say

Likes

The faculty here is very nice with supportive nature and helpful gesture.
The infrastructure here is very nice with 7 buildings of the academy and 2 hostel one for each.
The laboratories here are highly equipped with best equipment for the students.

Dislikes

Teaching style is not very understandable sometimes.
Canteen here is not very good in terms of cost as per the quality of food served.
Lift in the buildings sometimes don't work very well and causes problem sometimes.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum taught actually helps us to connect to what we have learned in our previous classes, also the teaching methods here are okay for the exams conducted here . The exams conducted here are easy if the students put in little effort from there ends.

The campus placements for the students begins from the 7 th semester . The companies that visit this college are TCS, Accenture, WIPRO, etc. Percent of students getting placed is based upon the skills of the students. I plan to get placed from this college after the degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure had seen a recent hike after our admission to this Institute as per the governments instructions. The complete cost of the course without hostel facilities is 6,00,575 and hostel cost is 6000 per month.

Campus Life

The college organises tevhnical fest which invites students to participate in various events and challenge everyone to a fair competition. Also there is culural fest for which students are charged . These are held once per year.

Admission

The seats for all the courses fills very fast. The admission process is very fast. The only eligibility criteria for this is to have science stream till class 12 th. There is no entrance exams except WBJEE and JEE but there is also admissions through management quota.

Faculty

The faculty here tries to provide the best way of teaching they can but not all of them are able to deliver the best of their efforts. The faculty to student ratio here is better as teachers are very good

Should I Choose IEM.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Heritage Institute of Technology: A Detailed Observation

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

Companies that visits campus: TCS Accenture Cognizent Infosys Wipro Capgemini Deloite Byjus Tech Mahindra Placement Percentage-On average 80%-90% of students may secure jobs through campus placements.However this numbers could vary across different departments and specialization Highest and average package-The highest salary offered at Techno India University was 24 LPA and the average salary was 4-5 LPA. Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

Placement Experience:

Despite the low fee structure, my college provides a good placements. Almost every student of CSE Dept who sit for placement, gets the placement between 4lpa - 6lpa. Last year the highest package was ?12 lpa. ECE department has the lowest percentage of placements. And other engineering departments have between 60-70% placement. All the mentioned above is the description of in campus placement. Not many students of my college opt for out campus. But if they do, they get good placements as per the reports. In 2021 a student secured the job in Microsoft, with the placement of ?45 lpa (out campus).

I choose this college because this college was good in among all the average colleges in West Bengal leaving the top colleges. The placement is also good.
