Course Curriculum Overview

The course and curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness I would wait it 7 out of 10 because the course curriculum is designed on the basis of industry requirements. The course curriculum changes according to the industry requirements.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 94000 per year

Placement Experience

If company we start coming to college form 7th semester many companies like Google Microsoft Amazon Apple Airbus etc comes to the college and number of offers made or nearly about 350 the highest package this year was 84 lpa and the average was 23.5 lpa.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of one cent for a normal student is 94000 but the fees for SC ST students for one semester 6000 only. There are many type of scholarships which includes EWS, BPL category and merit scholarships.

Campus Life

Texas is the annual and technical festivals held at polish many books are present in the library the facilities and technology within the classrooms are very good sports and extra curricular activities offered by the campus or cricket drama robotics and many more.

Hostel Facilities

Room with of fan a table and chair bed and a shelf is given in the room. The meal quantity and menu of mess are not so good. You can rent a room or PG in nayagaon, Punjab which is very near to the college.

Hostel Fee: INR 81500 per year

Admission

Punjabi engineering College take admission from the through the JEE mains which is conducted by NTA. The cut off list are present on josaa official website. There there are benifits given to the students under reservation.

Faculty

The Faculties are graduated form of very good colleges and have good qualifications in study. The facilities of Punjab engineering College are very helpful and very practical for students in studies.

Pec...The best college in chd

Placement Experience:

This college has decently good packages both the average package and median packages as well as almost 80 percent studnets are placed before the 4th year ends...if I talk about my branch the median was 11 lpa and almost 90 students were palced out of 120 in 2024

My review of PEC Chandigarh

Course Curriculum Overview:

For improvement in teaching methods, they can go digital, like using smartboards, or use more practical teaching methods, or maybe just improve the way of teaching simply. Teaching methods here really need upgrades, mostly students here have to rely on youtube when exams come near.

Pec is still worth it

Placement Experience:

The placements have been lowered by 10-20% recently, but they are getting better. You will get a job if you manage cgpa above 7 and are decent with your skills, but then don't dream for 20lpa + jobs, you need to work upon yourself in silence to get 25-50 lpa packages and they do happen in our colleges, highest package in electrical 2024-25 was 52 lpa and in ece cse they had 61 lpa. Companies start coming in 3rd year for internships, only 10% manage to get intern in 3rd year, companies like microsoft, atlassian, flipkart, mercedes, jp morgan etc. they do come. Placement perecentage is like 75-80% in electrical and it is very low in civil (around 40-50%), in cse it is like 90% or even higher. My plan is to get an intern asap. (Maybe in 2nd year theough offcampus)

Great college with immense opportunities

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course is upto date and to the industry levels, especially with great labs and internship opportunities. Exams, are based on the course but they're quite tough and we need to study daily to get good marks.

Good college with great opportunities

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from 4th year and many get PPOs in 3rd year as well. Top companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Apple, Google, visits the campus for placement. In CSE last year, the highest package was around 60 LPA with average around 17-18 LPA with 80% got placed.

PEC: where engineering meets opportunity

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for placements after their sixth semester. Many companies visit PEC some of the top recruiters are Uber,Microsoft,JP Morgan,Goldman Sachs,Texas Instruments,Cisco,American Express and many more. This year the highest package was 61 lpa given to 3 students from circuital branches,6 students received offer of 52 lpa. The average CTC was 13.6 lpa and specifically about ECE it was 15.6 lpa. 456 out of 694 students were placed which is a placement rate of 65.7% including PPOs from companies. My plans would be to get placed with a good package .

Pec chandigarh review

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are offered and internships are also offered in the 3rd year, many new branches are also being introduced to the curriculum. Placements are according to the branch and capability of the student. There is good placement ratio.

Pec is still worth it

I chose this college because of the fees and legacy of college, it is more than 100 years old and everyone in the industry knows about it, the fees is low compared to others. the campus is decent 150 acres which is comparatively better than other government colleges (though if u want better campus and can pay high, go for thapar). I applied to thapar, IIITs but at the end chose here. I was rejected from NIT delhi due to rank (college tag is more valuable of NIT). Admission process is only through josaa and csab, only online (after jee mains). And cse at pec is very popular, along with ece....Read More
