I choose this course because I love computer science and Engineering very much. And my aim is computer science and Engineering learning . This is the most difficult engineering subject in the world . This department enhance our career opportunity.

Internships Opportunities

In this college internship opportunity is available. The companies are TCS, Amazon, Microsoft etc. our HOD is very helpful. He train us for crack the internship interview. Many of student crack the interview and 1.5 lakh stipend.

Placement Experience

6th and 7th semester student are eligible for the campus placement. The name of the companies are visit l&t, Wipro, TCS, ect. They offered as average package of 7 LPA . Our college highest package is 42 LPA. In 2023 , 120 student are placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

For CSE department 12000 per year For ECE department 12,000 per year FOR EE DEPARTMENT 6000 per year For ME department 6000 per year . FOR CE DEPARTMENT 6000 per year . Our college give us SVMCM scholarship. The amount is 60000.

Campus Life

Our campus is very beautiful . Greenery is everywhere and there . Our college of fo five hostel and two playground in the campus. Our college have a big library. With 75000 book in the library. Every student to access the library.

Admission

Admission process is held in three step. First counselling second counselling and third counselling. Our college cut off for CSE 12000. ECE 14000 and electrical is 16000 and mechanical is 24000 and last civil is 30000. I don't like the mop up round.

Faculty

Our college faculty members are very friendly. They support us not only study, every field of life . They teach us very smoothly . They helped very poor student who needed to help. Our college teacher experience and very energy-efficient

The course curriculum is very relevant and useful for us.They teach data structures algorithm that is very important for college placements and they also teach os, networks and other usefull things that is very important in computer science.They provide very high quality labs and the whole college has a good internet connection.Tecahers are very educated and good they helps us and teaching in very good way .The exams time schedule is also very good if there is any problem the college will change the exam date that is really a good thing.

Story of hit

Placement Experience:

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Like tcs infosys cognizant ibm Capgemini like companies comes every year with good placement and capsitech gives you internship from 3 year . From 7th sem you are eligible for campus placement in 2025 the avg package is 5-7 lpa and Highest lpa is 75lpa . My plan is getting good job in good company

Placement Experience:

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.
