Likes

The food offered in the canteen was somehow fine. I won't say that it was the best I've had but it was decent and tasted average.
Non teaching staff was very helpful and always helped me.
The college building is well maintained. Cleanliness is given importance.

Dislikes

Washrooms were terrible. Some of them didn't have a lock.

Course Curriculum Overview

Zoology is a great course but I'll suggest that only those students should take up this subject who are actually enthusiastic about this subject. The course includes subjects like physiology, anatomy, non-chordates, chordates, genetics, cell biology etc.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 33579007 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee of this course Is somehow affordable. It's around 16k per semester and additional 1.3k during the examinations. The college even offer financial assistance to the students who cannot afford some basic requirements like laptop for study purpose. College do not offer employment opportunities

Campus Life

I barely had any campus life. As I am a science student, I was always burdened with a lots of assignments, exams, test, practical files and what not. College used to arrange fun activities but I never payed intrest to them and was occupied with my work. Zistatva and reverie were the 2 events I enjoyed by dressing up and enjoying. These 2 are the only major events of the college.

Admission

I got admission on merit basis. My score was 91% in SC category and I got admitted in the first cut off. For me, the admission process was quite smooth. But now, the pattern is changed and students get admission on the entrance basis.

Faculty

Teacher's are highly qualified but some of them lack basic empathy for students. They don't allow the Students to have a life outside books. Teacher's use smart board and black board for teaching just as the traditional methods.

Talking about the placements it has society that is placement cell you have to join it for updates and also you will register on your college portal also. According to previous data it has a highest placement of 6.5 lakh per annum and the companies which visits here are google, tcs, infosys, etc And in every year you are eligible but you have experience in fields a good resume My plan was to prepare for ssc after getting the degree

Placement Experience:

For statistics IT companies like Dell, Wirpo and others have job offers and roles. 4-5 lakhs is what we were offered and get easily too. For a student getting graduated in just 60k, getting 10x of it as initial placement, nothing more can be asked for.

Nice location but average college

The course curriculum is not very relevant to nowadays only learning basic coding is not going to help you get the job we are not taught to make projects simple apps and AI is not used in the functioning

Gargi College defines greatness!

CUET is the best thing that has happened as otherwise when it was on percentage basis our college cut-offs were 96 percent minimum. Luckily now the benchmark is set on 90 and rest all on CUET score. Gari College has given endless memories!!

I obviously like every girl in India wanted LSR but 790 was the cut-off for LSR and for Gargi it was 772. I missed my mark by 6 numbers or percentile or else I would have been reviewing LSR currently. Gargi College has good faculties!!

Admissions process of DU is good till CUET, the counselling round are actually quite hectic as within minutes we have to decide and lock the college. Gargi College is Gorgeous!!

In January the forms for CUET are out and we all have to fill them, whoever wants admission in DU. It's really sad that cut-off for reserved students is 610-620 while for general category students like me has to score in access of 765 to get admission for any courses in Gargi.
