Deshbandhu College

The course curriculum is designed very thoughtfully where related subjects jave been kept in succession in successive terms/semesters. For instance, we have studied animal diversity in last 4 semesters where the subject is diveided into four parts: Non Chordates I, Non Chordates II, Chordates and Conparitive anatomy of Vertibrates, which we have studied in fours semesters successfully.

The intership opportunities are offered by the teachers of department, from the university and also from the placement cell. Teachers encourage students to indulge in extracurricular and cocurricular activities too.

In regard of placement in college, college is having its own placement cell- CYFLE which has qualified faculty with great connections, students for student friendly measures. The society organises regular events for offering placements and internships to students

The fee is quite nominal, around 20000 per annum which needs to be paid after the even semester. An examination of around 2000 is needed to paid as examination fee in each semester. Acadamic scholarships and financial assistance is also provided by the college. Around 50-80% fees of economically weaker students is refunded and toppers are given a scholarship of around 4-5 thousand.

The college is quite peaceful with continuous chaos of playing and enjoying students! College has a botanical gargen with a small pond, A mushroom culture hut and a biodiversity park. College has a huge variety of plant with an amphitheatre and open ground. College has a playing area and a badminton court.

The admission process was easy. I need not to worry at all. Admission was merit based on the CSAS portal, through the CUET-UG. I scored 480 out of 600 and got this college alloted in the first list, and i chose not to upgrade it!

The faculty members are well qualified and. Most of the teachers have conpleted their Ph.D. and rest have a qulification criterion of NET JRF. The faculty members are helpful, intelligent and have enough knowledge of their respective streams.
