Course Curriculum Overview
I have to go for corporate world. So I just decided to go for CA and for that I wanted some knowledge and that will I get from BCOM (HONS)..It doesn't prepare well for the real world but yes it will give toh some knowledge about it. There should be more practical knowledge besides the theory part. In a year the exam was held twice so you have 2 semesters in 1 year and you have total 3 years for this course. And i would say it's exam is moderate.
Placement Experience
I think from the 2nd year, u are eligible for campus placements. I don't remember the company's visited in our college. I think the highest package was around Rs. 400000 per year for freshers and the average package was around Rs. 250000 per year.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is some hike in tution fees regularly in a year. Complete cost of the education was around ? 40000 in total. There is some scholarship facility for EWS students. There is no campus employment there.
Campus Life
Library is too good for study. But they lack in some books. But the discipline is so good in the library. In the old building you don't get much facilities there. But in the new building u get all facilities from lift to sanitation. Zakir Husain College has best NCC , and the best football team also.
Admission
Eligibility of the course:- 12th pass in Commerce stream. Application form is provided online on the site of Delhi University. There are a lot of benefit for reservation students. They get benefits of certain numbers, their cut off goes little lower than general and EWS.
Faculty
Faculty members are Very good. Their teaching style is so good..but yes we face some difficulty when teachers are on leave.. sometimes they tell u while they're on leave and sometimes they don't. They all are highly qualified. They all have very good experience. They cleared all your doubts whenever you want. They never deny to help u.
