Course Curriculum Overview

College is too much helpful in student's study. Although they teaches the courses according to their syllabus as well as also help in student's extra study if anyone prepare for any other exam. Anyone who want to prepare for any exam can get enough time for that.

Placement Experience

In this time when getting job is very hard, student of this college are taking too much preparation for it. After the lockdown period a limited number of companies are arriving and taking students for job. Students also get the off campus job.

Fees and Financial Aid

It is about 50000 rupees in each semister which is 4 lakh in total. But this was 40k to 43k before the lockdown time. College approve the svmcm and forward to higher authority, also have the loan facility.

Campus Life

Campus Life is not so good as the College have only a 11 acres area, also as the College is in rural area there are no big Market,malls, restaurant. But as the station is very close to the College anyone can go to any place to travel.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are neet and clean form both inside and outside. But there are too much rules inside the hostel. It cost 60000 rupees in each semister. Student can stay in pg also which is very to the College and the cost is also too low.

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

Student can get admission through donations and also through giving the exam wbjee. If anyone wants to get admission he or she have to get rank in about 50000 and for CSE department, it is about 16000.

Faculty

There are enough faculties in every branch of each year. The faculties are very close to every student. They gives time also after the classes and also in free time to discuss any doubts of every students.

Story of hit

Placement Experience:

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Like tcs infosys cognizant ibm Capgemini like companies comes every year with good placement and capsitech gives you internship from 3 year . From 7th sem you are eligible for campus placement in 2025 the avg package is 5-7 lpa and Highest lpa is 75lpa . My plan is getting good job in good company

Placement Experience:

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.
