Remarks

Good-Placements are good. students communicate with each other well. Good infrastructure. Bad-they always maintain an agenda. yeah it is good to make you a good professional in the future life but the innovativeness may lost in the echo.

I took WBJEE and the college is no doubt very good option over other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty and course curriculum is quite good and moderate.

Internships Opportunities

Internship program in the college is not that much well known. But few of the students did it in the texas A&M, CSIR etc.

Placement Experience

In 4th year, for the placements Infosys, wipro and ITC infotech came. Near about 90% students were placed.

College Events

Eclesia is the most renowned fest in the college. Various performer came and performed.

Fees and Financial Aid

GATE scholarship and teaching assistantship is provided by the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I read in CSE(AIML) AI ML perspective and couse curriculam inluenced me to admit in college. Teachers often make real-world applications gor any pariculatr topic. I think more practical based an implement based curriculam should be added rather than more theorital subs. Most case college is form 9am -5 pm Like (9-5 job) .

From fifth semester you are eligible for the intership . And from seventh semester you are eligible for the placement. Many companies visited our college such as TCS , IBM ,COGIZINANT, amd many more . The highest package is around 15 lpa and the average package is 4 - 5 lpa . The placement ratio is around 80 - 85 %

NIT DURGAPUR - A Detailed Breakdown

Placement Experience:

Students generally start getting their pre-placement offers from their 3rd year after completion of their internships other students gets their placement too in their final year. Starting from Apple to Google and Microsoft too hired some of our senior but the number of the students get placed in those tech giant companies is very less but there are mass recruiters too like TCS infosys PW chaitanya education TATA steel BHARAT petroleum and many other companies the offers are made based upon the eligibility of the students and the packages are decided based on the skillset and experience of the students . Highest package was 70 LPA this year and the average packages are also pretty good based upom the companies and their offers it ranges from 15-30 LPA .Almost 80-83% students gets placed but it depends on the branch of the students and their skillsets.I want to sit for GATE exam after completion of my BTech and want to persue MTech

Unveiling HITK

So, basically i gave all engineering exams and i got good marks in jee as well as in wbjee but waiting for jee councelling to get decent college of my choice unfortunately i did not got what i was expecting and thus throung my jee marks i got admission in hitk which is also a decent college. Talking about the application form u will find in wbjee websiteand its fees is 500 rs also application dates are available in the website itself . Now , yes there are reservations for the student of west bengal if they score better they get more chance that outside students .
