Honest Review By Student Of Architecture at NITRR

The curriculum is allinged with current industry standards and trends ensuring the students to gain proper practical and site knowledge. Course also includes urban design and vernacular architecture. It also offers architectural tour every year for better experience and skill developments.

In architecture department, iternship is provided to every students on 7th semester for 7 months. It's paid internship in reputed firms. After that there is again joining to college for 9th and 10th semester.

After semester 10 students are eligible for campus placement. Yes, institute offer campus placements but very limited. Highest package is 8 lakh and average is 6-7 lakh. I'll try to get campus placement at any cost, because it's very helpful for skill development.

Fee structure is about 6.5 lakh for whole course, excluding hotel fees. For SCs and STs tuition fess is free, hence it will cost them around 50-60k for whole course. Also if father's income is less then 1 Lakh then also tuition fee is free. There's no such any scholarship bounded by institue. The amount paid in josaa and csab counselling will be resfunded by 2nd semester, the first semester fees is adjusted by that fees only. Hence, it is very low amount for course such as architecture compare to private institutes.

The institute offers many kinds of events by starting of the year. Every month there will be atleast one event, maybe two. Events are: Aavartan (Annual event), Shruti (music event), Technofest (IT fest), Pixellane (Photography event), Archifest (architectural event), Etc. Clubs are as follows: Photography club: Click Club Nrityam: Dance club Raaga: Music club NCC NSS Ethics club Sports club Go green club Etc. there are many more club

Admission is only possible by Jee Paper 2A. 75% in 10+2 is compulsory. Application form is available in jee official website. Dates and every thing is provided in that website only. After results, do counselling in josaa or csab to get seat.

The qualifications of professors are very high. They are well experienced and skilled. Professors of architecture are too dedicated towards the students and interact very well with them. In architecture they make us experience every thing by different ways, they are always available for extra knowledge. This all comes because of their dedication and hardwork towards architecture. Overall, professors of department of architecture and planning, NIT Raipur are well trained and highly skilled. Hence, perfect for students.
