There are as many as 5 canteens in our college and out of that my favourites are GJBC and Cantina.

Dislikes

Lectures timings are such that for Monday to Friday most students are in stress as 8 hours lectures a day is too much for anyones liking.

All the latest in the world of IT has been included in our course. Our course data is harvested from top universities of the world and therefore I can be assured that nothing in the world of technology will be left for studying at PES University.

Placement Experience

PES University has 2 campuses and placements are done at central campus which is our campus. Mass placements happen in second year as in a couple of months the university ensures that students to bag and offer and take the university legacy forward.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees increases every year and that's the policy of the university. My complete cost of education including projects will be around 15 lakhs and I feel it's a bargain deal. Scholarships for most students as those who don't qualify for reserved category scholarship can work hard and get even better scholarships by scoring well.

Campus Life

Out of almost 10-12 fests a year, Pecon and Aatmatrisha are two of the biggest fests of PES University. In sports we have basketball courts, hard courts of tennis and outfields and a recreational room for indoor sports lovers. The competitive coding has been possible at the campus purely because of Alcoding Club.

Admission

PESSAT is the entrance score that is mandatory and though there are seats through KCET and other entrances but students with PESSAT are preferred over others. The forms are available on university website and as soon as the scores are out one knows that which course he/she has qualified for.

Faculty

4.5

Faculties here have one approach for CSE students and that is coding. More importance is given to coding than papers and presentation as they know it's coding mastery that will take us further. Interaction is very important in CSE as even after classes and personal studies, doubts will always be there and luckily our faculties don't mind even if a same question is asked to them umpteenth time.

RNSIT : Best college for students

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is very active in our college. Every year more than 30+ companies come to our college for recruitment . Our seniors from 7th semester get placed in many companies and before getting placed in the company our college offers internships to every student. Around 80 % of the students get placed in companies and work efficiently. The average package for civil engineering is 2.5 lakh per annum.

My College Review

Placement Experience:

RIT's placement scenario is very good, even for the most unpopular branches such as Civil Engineering. Starting from the 7th semester, students are allowed to participate in campus recruitment, and companies come to the campus for the entire final year. The major recruiting companies are L&T Construction, Shapoorji Pallonji, Brigade Group, Sobha Developers, Atkins, PWD, and Infosys for the non-core sector. Civil students on an average get ?5–6 LPA as salary, and the highest offer is usually in the range of ?12–15 LPA, depending on the company and the position. Almost 70–80% of Civil students are placed, while some of them go for higher studies or government examination.Site engineer, design engineer, planning engineer, survey engineer, and trainee engineer are the core positions that are offered. Also, non-traditional roles in IT and consulting can be taken up by those who are not interested in core engineering profiles.I will first acquire some work experience in the industry after completing my degree and then will pursue a master's degree in structural engineering to gain further specialization.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

Actually imnin 1st semester so I aks from seniors so they told me highest PKG of cs branch is 86LPA and machenical is 60 LPA they are off campus package and in campus 57 LPA for cse and they also give minor degree courses for placement chance is increased in cs branch 93 % students placed 125 compony visited in college in 2024-25 I plan I get job after b tech if I don't placed in campus so i tried EAE examination.

Honest review from a student who doesn't hate his college but at the same know there are multiple places for improvement

Placement Experience:

Students become elegible for placements from 7th sem onwards but we are encouraged to do internship before final itself. Most of the companies that come here aren't t1 or even t2. Highest probably would be 12L only if the student is exceptional but most would secure a package 4-6. And the percentage of students getting placed is <50%

one of the best college in karnataka.

Placement Experience:

i have 100 percent confidence on myself and the college placement .because it has 95 percent placement in it sector.the students are eligible from 5 or 6 th semester as of there.there are one of good companies who visit our college like amazon, tata, microsoft some years ago google also visited they tries to contact and give placements to students.it has 33 lakh highest and the median is good enough as 12 lakh anually.

Life in PESU

Except PESU I applied for MCC banglore, MSRUAS banglore, Chanakya University banglore and Reva University banglore and got offer letter from all the 4 universities. I choose PESU over the other universities considering fee structure, infrastructure, curriculum, importance give to extra curricular activities, proximity to main parts for the city etc. The admission process in PES is quite simple, first we have to fill an application form, then we will be having an interview. Once we get qualified in the interview we will be asked to pay the seat blocking fee. Then after few weeks we can pay the pending amount later will have to go to the university for documents submission. MBA at PES University

PES University is situated at the silicon valley of India, Bangalore. Its a good choice to apply for MBA at PES as it would give you enough exposure to the industry world. I gave my PGCET exam before applying as the scores are necessary for admission. The university is ranked 76-100 for MBA by NIRF 2021. It's the best B school under VTU.
