The course curriculum receives high praise for its relevance and comprehensiveness. Its not only impact theoretical knowledge but also hones of practical skills , critical thinking abilities and prepare students for the complexities of the moder world

Internships Opportunities

I my 2yr, i got selected in two companies, one in Aim India Pvt. Ltd. For 15,000/- INR for HR and other as Social Media Manager at Study Anchor for 25,000/- INR. Both with work-from-home options, are indeed fantastic opportunities for a bachelor. These Internship not only provide valuable work experience but also allow me to earn while learning.

Placement Experience

In my 2yr, got a college internship in HR with a work from home option and a stipend of 15,000/- INR. It was a valuable experience that can enhance my skills and resume too. Moreover At the same time 3rd year students were getting their placement with the salary range of 4.5L-6L . It shows that the college provide good opportunities for students to kickstart their carrier

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of college is quite reasonable at 18,000/- INR for 1yr and considering the top notch infrastructure provided. While air conditioners might not be available but majority of the DU compus don't do!! . Although I terms of financial assistance, college do provide , the college offer various scholarships and opportunities for students to receive aid . Overall, the college strives to make education accessible and affordable for all students , ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder their academic journey

Campus Life

My overall experience with campus life has been fantastic , especially in terms of Social aspects , club involvement and infrastructure provided. Engaging in Clubs and extracurricular activities has been enriching, allowing me to pursue my Intrest , develop new skills and build lasting friendship. Overall, College infrastructure is top notch and well equipped classrooms and with modern modern facilities. Majority of the Govt college lack in maintaining in washroom but Ram Lal Anand college have maintained hygiene in Washroom.

Admission

The admission process at the college was quite smooth. I applied through the CUET Exam and scored 602/800 , considering OBC reservation and being female. Application form is available on NTA Official website. The application process was well recognised and cut off criteria were transparent through percentile method.

Faculty

Faculty members in the college are the backbone of academic excellence , being a wealth of knowledge and experience in the classroom. The effectiveness of faculty members go beyond their qualifications , its their commitment to student success that truly shine

Likes

The faculty members are supportive, knowledeable. Teacher explain concepts clearly and encourage student to participate in discussion
I like friendly and comfortable campus environment. student from different background intreact with each other
The college provides a good acedemics foundation and opptunities for overall development. being Part of delhi university also give student exposure to different events

Dislikes

some classroom and campus facilitues need improvement
placement oppotunites can be improved, esecially for student looking for better corporate exposure.
the evening college schedule can something be inconveibient because many acitvity and oppotunities are generally more accessible during regular college hours

I would rate the course curriculum around 4 out of 5. The curriculum is well structured and covers important subject related to commerce, accounting, finance, economics and business. I chose this course because is provides a strong foundationfor higher studies, competetives exam and careers in the cmmerce field

Life at South Campus

Likes

The crowd at venky is great, diverse crowd.
The campus is well maintained and is one of the bests at DU.
Opportunities provided to students are great

Dislikes

The attendance policy is a little strict for 1st and 2nd year

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course provides a comprehensive image of finance and management, though after NEP, the curriculum seems a little irrelevent. The exams are conducted twice in a year, 2 sems per year, they conduct mid sem exams as well.

Shyam Lal College( Morning) Review

Likes

College is improving day by day teaching faculty is also helpful it recently got A++ NAAC credition as well
Overall college is good if you have good peer group.
Near to north campus so doesn't really feel much of headache if you want to visit regularly.

Dislikes

Shadara is not a good place to spend your college life.
Evening college crowd has made the reputation of the college bad.
Near by area is not safe for Girls in late hours.

Placement Experience:

6th sem is the first time college placement are proceeded . Companies are not impressive and mostly are entry level jobs such as cold calling and such which they offer. Highest package was 4 lpa and avg was 2.5 only. Around 60 percent students gets placed.

Likes

The online learning platform is easy ans simple to use students can acces lecture and assigments and study materials anytime
Faculty mambers provide clear guidance through online sessions and study materials they are supportive
They procides recording that was very usefull when we will not attend the live class

Dislikes

Since the classes are in online and also there are some techical issues while taking classes that will interupt classes
placement support is limited in online classes so students need to search for internships and job oppertunities on their own
Its deffecult to connect student coordinators while we wnat exam timetable etc they are too slow

I choose BCOM because the want to take ACCA after BCOM it will helps to improve my career and give a better job and also BCOM is the basices of ACCA like law, financial managment, taxation etc .The curriculam provide strong fountation for students who wamts to pursue higher studies such as M.COM , MBA and professuonal couses. BCOM helps to understanding real world bussiness practices , accounting sytem etc . on;ine study material recordimg leture and assigments also make flexible for students to study their own pace. exams are usually conducted semister wise the difficulty level 0of exam are moderate if students were attend the class regulary and prepare well

Likes

Faculties are best. They teaches you and create never ending bond with you.
Infrastructure is good but the area is small , the greenery is amazing and flowers are sooo sweetest.

Dislikes

No hygiene in canteen. Avoid eating from canteen.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is highly relevant notably the focus on real world applications and Advanced Financial reporting. It prepared me well for professional life. Improvement is needed in digital tool exposure.

i dont like any thing in this college

there is a green gaurden in my colleges old campus
we have a big ground in our college which i like i can play football there
they make an football ground in old campus which is good

Dislikes

techers are not good in teacing they just want to let it go the classes
my college was too small and the classes are not properly furnished for my class size
there is no place for sit in the shade or to make our mind diverted or have fun and the canteen is worst of old campus

i am from commerce background i want to do eco honers but in 12th i dont have mathematics so i cant then i decideid for b. com honers but i aloted the b.com program which is my 3rd priority umm i leanrd new things in my ncc and with my friends there are very less college activities to i dont know how to make my college life good and make some experiences they can make us travel with them to the real buiseness or any factory or a relay paper work from any company i want to do a camp in jab which is good for my ncc life but it is during my exams thats why i cant did that camp yet

i liked their faculty member and staff , they are played with students and taught as a friend
i liked canteen service and their foods it is hygienic but canteen infrastructure is not good
i liked their ground its have bollyball court basketball court badminton court and cricket ground also and they provide gym in college

Dislikes

i didn't like their campus because its not too much big
and college provide which lift service is not working properly
their bathroom is not too good and not too much hygienic

i choose bcom hons and all teacher are provide their 100% on their courses but neet to improve in practical exam because some computer not working and teacher teach students in one computer but there is no difficult paper according to time some time it's lengthy.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

I gave the CUET exam which gets you admission into central universities such as- Delhi University and Banaras Hindu University. I applied for delhi university. Based on my marks, i had to prepare a preference sheet of the college's which provided my interested course- Bachelor of Commerce. Among 50+ colleges i prepared the preference sheet. There are allocation round in which the University allots you a college. In the first round I was alloted Satyawati college i.e 22nd preference. It was on off campus so I had three options- accept the admission, upgrade your college or withdraw admission from University. I applied for upgrade and got Ram Lal College in 2nd round. It was a south campus college. i paid the fees and got admission. I could upgrade the college for 3rd round but decided not to as I was satisfied with the college. I wasn't interested in BHU as I read the reviews that bachelor of commerce was better in Delhi University....Read More

Life at DU South campus: From an eye of a Science Student

According to the new NEP scheme, we were not allowed to choose colleges based on our merit but are alloted to us by the University itself on basis of CUET scores. Underrated Gem of UoD

The college was alloted to me via the Delhi University entrance exam portal. I personally wanted to do the course and thats why I accepted the college in one go. If you have to get into the college just give CUET. The cutoffs are high and you will have to aim the best score for getting in DU. Personally DU was my only option as I didn't apply to any other college. The admission process is very smooth and personally I didn't face any problems there....Read More
