Likes

Diverse crowd, people form almost every part of the country, cultural fests etc
College societies are fun with regular summits and seminars
Commerce department is doing great in terms of academcs

Dislikes

Caste and state groupism sometimes can be toxic
During the times of student elections, some candidates can do unhinged stuff
Infrastructure could be better and the clg should have been red

Course Curriculum Overview

DUs Bcom hons is considered very rigorous, cause it runs the syllabus of London school of economics, The course is very relevant and i really love the pedagogy of the faculty, the teachers use practical examples for elaboration. No cons all pros

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 35000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Local internships are provided by newly formed placement cell, i cant disclose the names but the companies are startups and offer small roles, hence everybody starts small and earns big so i dont think there is an issue

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is quite volatile since It is paid on yearly basis, in my 1st year it was around 8.8k then 10k for 2nd the 11k for 3rd, fees is affordable and relaxation for required candidates prevails

Campus Life

Name of annual event is Astir it is a cultural event typically held in April mid or 1st week, there are many books in the library which you will need more than enough, Classrooms have projectors and library has opaq system for navigation Our college is renowned for sports and Acheivements there are several NGOs run by the students

Admission

Honestly this college is recently getting a brand name because of societies like 180 DC and Enactus, I did not chose the college, this college somehow got to me, The admissions happen via CUET UG and students have to score good marks in that exam to get admission any where in DU let alone this college

Faculty

Faculty is very good, very supportive, and the student can work alongside on research papers and faculty is really lenient with attendance and test, students are really supportive towards teachers and their personal endeavors

Night Life

Satya Niketan in Near our college it is where the students hangout, it is safe to roam cause it is a posh area with security and embasys around, timings of hostel are for whole day till 10 PM otherwise its alll good

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is old and rigid, the still teach old methods and syllabus is updated very slow. But with introduction of SEC and VAC courses student have some different options which the can choose to study for their semester.

I choose BCOM because the want to take ACCA after BCOM it will helps to improve my career and give a better job and also BCOM is the basices of ACCA like law, financial managment, taxation etc .The curriculam provide strong fountation for students who wamts to pursue higher studies such as M.COM , MBA and professuonal couses. Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college has become very active from this year and is bringing various internship as well as placement opportunities in the college . Students of the 5th sem i.e. 3rd year are eligible for placements. Average package of the college is around ?5-6 lac p.a.. My plan after getting a degree is to go for a corporate job , if provided on campus well and good otherwise to find one myself off campus .

Facts

Placement Experience:

The highest package of my college is 36 lakh per annum from bcom H programme. The placement is very nice from my collegem the average package is 6.7 lakh per annum and the median package is around 8 lakh per annum which is very good in my views. But if the students is not focusing in his academic then no college can give him placement, it's just a exception. The students become elegible for placements after 2nd year and before 3rd year basically they just got PPO that is preplacement offer. Bain & co. , de shaw , Accenture , oyo, Swiggy. I have a plan of Doing MBA after doing Bcom H form hansraj college

Motilal Nehru College Evening

I applied to almost all colleges that offered bcom/bcom hons in Delhi University and was selected into SPMC for bcom but I gave up on that seat and instead chose MLNCE because firstly it is an on campus renowned college and also it is a Co-ed college . It is the best college I could get with my CUET score and I am satisfied. Also the fees is very affordable. I did get very close to getting into Dyal Singh College but my score wasn't enough to get into. The admission process is firstly to clear cuet and according to your score you have to submit a preference sheet and then accordingly you will be alloted colleges in any round (1,2,3 or mop)....Read More

Motilal Nehru College Evening Insights!

Earlier in csas I got Sri Aurobindo College Evening but I upgraded and got Motilal Nehru College Evening. Although Sri Aurobindo College is also not bad but it is the off campus college and the crowd is not as good as motilal nehru and also the level of education.
