Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is okay . It makes the basics clear in each topic and helps us in gathering knowledge on a vast range of subject. The laboratories are well equipped and helps us to gather some industrial knowledge.
Internships Opportunities
Students may opt for more than one internship. The companies where students get internship are such as bengal beverage, United beverages. Many students also get internship at various institutes for the research work .
Placement Experience
Campus placements are very good. It is a very transparent process. Every student gets a chance to sit in the placement drive based on the CGPA mentioned by the companies . Some students also opt for higher studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for the entire four years is just rupees 10,000. There are Mane scholarship availables . Each student can apply to the scholarship according to its mentioned criteria. Campus placement is on the next level and is getting better day by day . The average package is around 6lpa.
Campus Life
The campus life is great . There are many fests . The main fest is of 9 days comprising of many events. Students from other colleges also wait for our college fest. There is no social discrimination in the campus, if faced by any student strong action is taken immediately. There are various clubs which provides us with many opportunities.
Admission
The application process is easy not very complex. One needs to rank within 2500 in the WBJEE to get chance in the department of food technology and biochemical engineering. There is no other way to get admission in engineering without giving WBJEE
Faculty
The faculty members are highly qualified with a deep level of knowledge in each areas. They are very helpful and student friendly. The impact of getting taught by such good faculties reflects in our placements and grades and make us a better human being.
