Course Curriculum Overview
The upcoming plastic and polymer market and the usage of polymer is increasing day by day with the time. So that's why I choose this course . Teachers help us to get used to in the industry. The areas which can be improved is the laboratory work . The each semester has 6 papers and every paper is of 70 marks and 3 hours is given.
Internships Opportunities
Companies like Haldia petrochemicals, CEAT, burjar and many others companies come to give us internship opportunities. The permanent professors also help us to do some projects under their guidance to help us to learn the process perfectly.
Placement Experience
After seventh semester the students are sent for internship to various companies and after that they are eligible for campusing and the college provides 100% campusing and they also guide you for your higher studies
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fees is 26500 rupees approx in 4 years. You have to pay 3722 rupees per semester. So this is quite affordable for the students from any family. There is many scholarships like oasis scholarship for reserved cast students and SVMCM for every eligible candidate. In SVMCM scheme, a student will get 60000 rupees every year
Campus Life
There are not a regular annual or technical feat in the campus. But the library of the college provides informative journals and books for us. The class rooms are also have high tech facilities with projectors and podium. There is an annual sports program held in the university.
Admission
To be eligible for the admission you have to pass out the higher secondary exam with 60% marks in PCM and then cleared WBJEE with good ranking. The process of admission is very easy to do. The reserved cast students will get some extra benefits.
Faculty
The total number of faculty is 8. 4 of them are departmental and other 4 are guest lecturers. Total student is 32. Teachers are very friendly and we can interact with them easily. Teachers are very helpful and friendly.
