- First thing to take in note is yeshwantrao chavan College of engineering is that it is aggregated A++ rank from naac, the infrastructure of the college is good and the campus is huge. The college management do regular improvement in infrastructure
- The college have one big auditorium and one. small auditorium. Along with that the college have separate mini auditorium for each departments. All the departments have necessary more than enough equipments for practical knowledge for students
- The most appreciatable thing about YCCE is they regularly conduct skill improvement and skill development course which help students to gain knowledge for extracurricular activities and skill required for specific branch.
Dislikes
- The projectors of class doesn't work properly. Either they have technical problems or they doesn't start. The projectors are outdated. So, I think the projectors should bhi changed
- It is very difficult for students attend classes in summer. The coolers are not available for them.the College doesn't pay attention in providing cooler for each class in summer
Course Curriculum Overview
The electronics and telecommunication engineering focus on IT as well as core based courses. So if the students are confused if they want to go in core or IT branch, ETC branch is best for them. Also telecommunication The monthly tests had moderate difficulty level where as the final exam
Fees and Financial Aid
The admission is to be taken through cap rounds or management quota. The fees depend on the caste you belong to. The fees may vary with caste and economically weaker sections. The college provides scholarship every year to each and every student. As talking about batch 2024, due to recession, the job opportunities are less but skill many companies come for campus recruitment. The college organises campus recruitment till each and every candidate gets placed. The college also provides campus recruitment training before the recruitment starts. They also prepare us for interviews.
Campus Life
The college organizes a campus fest each year for students. One fest in which all branches work together and in other all branches organize their own fest. The fest involves dance, DJ, singing, coding competitions, cultural fest like flashmob, etc. The Student clubs involve poetry clubs, coding clubs for students interested in coding, etc. YCCE also has volleyball, basketball, and cricket teams. The fest is organized by students. Facilities and technologies provision are excellent, ycce provide wifi in every department. The library section contains all the necessary books for each and every branch. Every department has 4 to 5 labs containing computers and an auditorium of their own.
Admission
The candidate must appear for MHTCET exam in 12th standard. The candidate must complete higher secondary education or diploma. The application form is available on ycce website and application fees can only be submitted in the form of demand draft. The application dates are few days after your cap result is announced. The admission process held in 3 rounds. The person can get reservation benefits if they are eligible for seat. The area for improvement in admission process would be, the college must tell student all the necessary steps for admission before for avoiding confusion. As many students come form different cities sometime different states will not be troubled due to half knowledge of admission process.
Faculty
The number of students intake in college is different for different departments. Every section has different teaching staff for the same subjects. Also, there is a 20:1 ratio of students to teachers even during exam invigilation. The exam is taken strictly under CCTV. Teachers solve doubts in class itself. If the students have doubts they solve them in their free time. The faculty gives time-to-time guidance, organize guest lectures, organize extracurricular activities for students.
