The labs are maintained and various facilities provided
The clg is now autonomous and thus have an improved coursework.
Various club opportunities are there in which you can enter.

Dislikes

Only a handful of professors are really good at teaching
Not much supportive to other competitive exam such as GATE.

Course Curriculum Overview

Quite updated curriculum and as the clg has now become an autonomous institute, the curriculum has become really good and up to date with it focusing on current technologies. The exams are timely paced and not that much difficult. A few subjects may get little troubling, but with practice, it becomes easy.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 146000 per year

Placement Experience

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Fees and Financial Aid

1,46,000 is the yearly fees for any BTech course. There are scholarships like EBC, OBC, SC/ST in which you can apply if eligible. For EBC & OBC, the payable fees becomes around 80,000. This 80,000 includes all the fees such as tution fees, exam fees, etc.

Campus Life

Two big events happen each year: 1. ETAMAX and 2. FACES. Etamax is a mix of technical & cultural event occuring for 3 days with various sub events and games. Includes traditional day. Faces is the event of sports and various sports are conducted. Clg has 2 storey library with a lot of books.

Admission

I didn't apply to other colleges as I had already decided to apply for this clg as this clg is the best one in the whole Navi Mumbai and Panvel. For admission, CET is required after 12th grade and for diploma students, cutoff is based on the aggregate of last year diploma. Got the admission in 1st CAP round.

Faculty

The faculty are pretty chill and considerate. Easily approachable. Aqleem sir, HOD of ME is very good at teaching and Syed Arif sir, Sunny sir are too very chill. Two Internal Assessments (IA) of 20 marks each every sem and 1 end sem exam of 80 marks.

Night Life

The canteen is affordable and has variety of options. Not that big but decent size. Not really aware of hostel timings as I was a day scholar. There are many hangout places outside the clg like mini seashore, Inorbit Mall for arcades, turfs, etc. yea the locality is safe to roam at night as the area is mainstream

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Bookworms are welcome, engineers are not

The eligibility was cet and jee marks based only. The last round cutoff for this college in mechanical was around 80%ile in mhtcet. But it was higher than 95%ile in comps for general. The admission process was easy just bring a cheque and fill up few forms and give documents and done. I had choosen many other colleges over this i even got accepted in mit wpu and talen admission but i am a local mumbai person and i woshed to stay here so i gave up that admission. I also didnt get admission in the crce bandra due to only a small difference in the cutoff. And i had no idea about the ACAP rounds. I understood about acap and tried taking admission in vesit chembur in robotics but idk i changed my mind and stayed in fcrit because i thought i dont like coding at all and thus staying in core mechanical would help me sustain my engineering life....Read More
