- The campus area is very small compared to other engineering colleges in Bangalore
- The time table is kind of hectic and the amount of assignments are very large
- Occasional working days on Saturday are kind of annoying and the classes starts from 8 in the morning.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum feels kind of irrelevant because we were taught subjects like Cad and politics which has no relation with computer science engineering only one computer science language was taught in one sem starting from python then C and now in 3 sem java the difficulty level of exams is moderate when it comes to regular subjects but coding subjects are very tough when it comes to examinations
Internships Opportunities
In the end of 5th sem every student is supposed to do an internship of atleast one month inorder to gain industry experience various companies like byjus Microsoft tcs Deloitte etc offers internships to students various government organisation such as drdo and iisc also offers internships in our college various projects include backend developer and tester
Placement Experience
From the 7th sem the students become eligible for the placements the quality of students of CMRIT is very good the placements are very good when compared to other engineering colleges in Bangalore the highest placement was 27lpa ctc while the average package is nearly 6.5lpa ctc Nearly 80-85%students gets placed which belong to cs background
Fees and Financial Aid
Admission involves 3 major routes first being kcet Based in the rank and the clause admissions are given based on cutoffs through this the fees goes upto 1,13,000 per year secondly through comedk the fees structure goes till 2,62,000 and lastly through management quota through this the fess structure goes till 3.5-4 lakhs an year scholarship and fee wavier is only through management admissions
Campus Life
The campus is very small compared to other engineering colleges in Bangalore but the social Life inside the campus is very good, they organise fest every year inorder to maintain enjoyment among the college students on the other hand there are regular sports competition for those who are interested in sports various clubs are also there namely coding ninjas and others
Admission
Eligibility includes passing marks in 12th with physics chemistry and maths application forms and other details can be found on the official site of CMRIT other ways include kcet and comedk entrance exams which are moderate in terms of difficulty the cut off goes upto 7-8k air
Faculty
The faculty is no doubt the best when it comes to solving the complexity, the behaviour is very friendly and understanding . I personally belonged from biology background but the helped me a lot in understanding how coding works
