The campus of to university is very big and beautiful.
Smart classrooms are available as well as normal classrooms are also there .
The course fees is quite less and affordable for all type of students compared to other universities.

Dislikes

There should to more practical based class .
Teaching procedure should be more friendly and easy .
Field experience should be more available for the students.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose the course to know the agricultural background of the world . The university has taught me to fight against some disease and pest problem very easily. The classes should be more practical based . 1 sem after 6 months course .

Class Size: 110Course Fees: INR 13000 per year

Placement Experience

2.5

From 8 th semester students become eligible for placement. PRADAN offered a job of salary 30k during training period per month and 70k during job per month . My plan is to complete masters then I will apply any job .

Fees and Financial Aid

13000 RS per year is quired for semester fees and 4 years course it is . Swami Vivekananda scholarship is available for the students . Placements are available for the final year students . No such tuition fees is not required.

Campus Life

Annual festivals like fest , freshers , farewell , and events like independence day , Rabindra Jayanti etc are occured. A wide range of books are available in library . Smart classrooms with air conditioning and smart screen are available.

Hostel Facilities

Rooms in hostel are quiet enough for 3 people. One bed , Chair , table and a wardrobe is also available in a room . The menu of the hostel is decided by the students only . So the quality and menu is far better than other hotels. The cost in the hostel is quiet affordable for all .

Hostel Fee: INR 25000 per year

Admission

Minimum 95% marks for unreserved category in 12th standard exam is required . The application form , dates are available in the college website after the release of higher secondary exam . Reserved seats are also available .

Faculty

Classes should be more regular . And teachers are friendly enough but I think they should be more comfortable for welcoming the students with their doubts . The teachers are always there available whether the students face any difficulty.

I chose this subject because competition for job in this sector is not so high. It's easy to get a job after complete this course. As I say earlier semester examinations are the main examination. The examination is not so hard.

Something is better than nothing

Course Curriculum Overview:

Seat limit has been decreased into a little amount.So, getting chance is more difficult .there are 3 faculties agriculture, horticulture, agriculture engineering.In agriculture faculty so many departments are there ,but seat limit is less.In total seat,80%is for domicile students of West Bengal and 20%for icar accredited university students.In that 80% 70% for university home students and 10% for rest of the domicile students.

The exam was divided into 3 parts I.e 1st mock (15) marks,2nd mock(15 mark) and then final (50mark) and rest 20 mark as practiCal and field work.the students who do class regularly,is easy to pass because teachers are awesome..but if anyone miss class then it's hard to understand by reading books. The guard during exam is too hard..so those students who read concentrately are passed easily .. and those who don't read whole year and only read exam night they failed..

BCKV, a place to cherish forever.

You have to secure good percentage in Higher Secondary and clear the cutoff (More than 90%) to get into UG. You have to clear cutoff of University exams to get into PG/PhD. Eligibility is 12th with P+C+B or vocational with related subjects from any board. Students can also get admission from ICAR AIEEA (UG) exam. Application forms are available on the official website of the university ( https://bckv.edu.in ) when the application portal is opened. The date varies from time to time, generally, the application starts after the result of the 12th board exam is published. Yes, there are reservations for SC ST OBC students, General EWS students also get the benefit of reservation. In each semester there is one midterm one practical evaluation and one final end term for each course in a semester. Difficulty level is moderate.
