Likes
- The crowd at hindu college is very nice.you can easily make friends from every departments.
- You get to learn a lot too.Students from length and breadth of india can be seen.
- A whole lots of cultural programmes,fests,societies and much more opportunities to discover your taste through a wider spectrum.
Dislikes
- The boys hostel has been under construction and closed for more than 3 years.
- The food in the canteen is mostly suitable forbthe north indians. wish there were menu for all irrespective of their state.
- The placement percent is not that high, as ot is a graduation degree and companies look for skills not your marks.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty at the department im studying is highly qualified for whatbthey are put out for. And they give us projects that force us to do field work and many more such assignments and interactions with greater minds to brush up more skills.
Internships Opportunities
Bain &Co , Gartner , Accenture , KPMG , Wipro etc. are some of the recruiters . There is a very helpful society in hindu called "disha" to provide good guidance for placements. An increase of 22% in the highest package in 2023 than 2022
Placement Experience
The college is very prestigious and trains you for great teamwork due to the diversity.from my department around 15% of students only got placed.Average package is 6L per annum and the highest is around 50 L.
Fees and Financial Aid
We have to pay around ?20000 per year and then around ?2000 exam fees every semester. The fee is too low when compared to all the facilities provided. 8-10 students have been placed so far. The number of placed students are not that much
Campus Life
The campus infrastructure is sooo beautiful that you could spend your whole day without getting bored. It is well maintained.And there all too end facilities for sports realted activities. The library which is already quite good is under work for increment in floors and other facilities.
Admission
The admission process needed too many documents to be submitted in different e-upload formats. Many of those who tried got kicked out due to tiny mistakes in document submission. I got in with my 12 board marks and did not have to appear for any entrance.
Faculty
Most of the faculty has some kind of hierarchy among them and they publicly discriminate between south and north Indian students in the class. The faculty is highly qualified and good at teaching but the interaction with all the diverse students in the class is a bit poor.And there is lots of room for change and improvement.
