College atmosphere is very nice, especially tress and stuffs
Placement is very good, esepcially safety fire engineering its almost near to 11 lakh last year

Course Curriculum Overview :

The main reason why I choose this course is because of its placement, in safety fire last year the average package went is almost 11 lakhs, which is really good, the academics are very good they change syllabus frequently

Placement Experience :

Placement is best quality of my course safety and fire engineering, last year almost everyone got placed and average package went upto 11lpa also many big companies visit our campus like gail, it offers oround 22lpa

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

If you are native of kerala or if you belong to particular caste you may pay very less fee, if you are not native you won't get any scholarship in fee. If you are not native of kerala you may pay around 60k per semester.

Campus Life :

Campus life is pretty good, it's an open campus. Seniors are friendly once you really get to know them. There are many clubs and you can join the one you like. For example there is coding club all the cs enthusiastic people can join that club

Admission :

To get into this college you must pass an entrance exam called cat, which you can apply if you are 12th completed or studying in 12th, to get into safety and fire you might need to secure a rank below 2.5k, if you have reservstions it may go up.

Faculty :

Faculties are better than I expected, they are pretty well educated in their subjects and are friendly too. Usually there are around 60 students in a class with single teacher, it's hard to control all the students but they try to manage it pretty well

Campus is choosen wisely

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually the university curriculum is bit old fasion.Like the technology is a way head of the things that we are studying in the sessions.But the basis are well learned from it.The improvement we need in that is that to get out of the instituion as a proffesional that can handle the new technolgy that the real world work in.The curriculum is need to improve so much as per the technology improves the students want to know what all changes that are happening in the real world and they want to be trained according to that.

Placement Experience:

Our campus placement will begin from 7th semester. From 5th semester onwards college will provide training for placements and we have placement cell for this. An average LPA of 5 is provided from our college. Good amount of companies visit our campus for placement and we also get oppertunity to go for off campus placement

In the 7th and 8th semesters, the students become eligible for campus placements. Infosys, and Spyridian, are the companies that often come for placements .3 -4 lakhs is the highest package given by these companies.The percentage of students getting placement is about 50-70. My plan is to go for higher studies or to go for a job.

SEEING STCET THROUGH MY VISION

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards we could attend placement interviews and many companies used to approach our college but mostly IT companies as I was in civil dept the construction companies were very less or NIL.
