I wanted to pursue a literature course...as I wanted to be a reader...and I knew that in this course I would be bound to read novels and prose...and eventually reading will become my habit....and that happened also. This course allows us to think on a deeper level and to know the raw reality of a certain period...like the culture of society or the myths that prevailed at that time.

Class Size: 63Course Fees: INR 14000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Course fee is around 14000 to 15000 ...this college offers various internship program...but i did not opted for that...i know a guy who was in 3rd year and he got a package of 4 lakh per annum...that was all i know about this

Campus Life

The best thing about this college is its green cover area the college has...with many gardens and trees...where we can very well see movenents of birds squirell etc . I just loved the camous....moreover the infrastructure is also good .

Admission

When we took admission there was a particular date set for filling out the application form...and we needed to check our eligibility according to the cutoff the colleges were offering...as I got 91 % in my 12th class examination also I had the reservation benefit of being an obc. I was elligible for the course at this college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Very good curriculum- focus on practical approach rather than theories. The relevancy is great for sure. As a students of economics majors I am greatly satisfied with the curriculum here. People with other subjects like Political Science and History are also often offered educational trips

I found English hons to be a subject which can make me confident and fluent for the real world. Improvements could be done in management since it sometime lacks . the frequency and timing is fine the exams are of 3 hours which is enough for it .

Honestly, i would rate the course curriculum 8/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensive. At first I wanted B. Com but then one of my Aunt inspired me to take Economics hons instead . It provides a solid foundation for practical applications by blending the theoretical concepts for the real world applications

Just an Honest Review of SRCC, DU, Hostel, Delhi...

Placement Experience:

The placements of Shri Ram College of Commerce are one the highest in Delhi Univerisity. For the session 2023-23, the highest package was 35 lpa, average package was 10.15 lpa, median package was 8 lpa and the gross placement value was 51.6 crore. There were more than 100 recruiters from more than 15 sectors, including McKinsey & Co., BCG, Bain & Co., Kearny, Accenture, Delloite, JP Morgan & Co., etc. with more than 500 offers. The Placement Cell also launched an initiative of assissting people with special abilities to secure placements and interships. As of now, I have not settled to what I am going to do after graduation.

I chose it because I am a tabla player and music society is very good. The admissions are generally accepted to CUET UG examination.
