Remarks

Mithibai is the right choice for every student who wants to do something extraordinary and exceptional in their life.

Entrance Preview

The prestigious reputation and popularity made me choose Mithibai as my preference. It's top-notch infrastructure and expert teaching faculty is just like a cherry on the cake. Since my childhood it was my dream to study at Mithibai and so by scoring a good score and securing a place in the merit list I got this golden opportunity of proudly calling myself a Mithibaite

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum is apt for students of all caliber. It fulfills all the aspects of an ideal education. The teaching faculty with its fine teaching techniques makes it easier to understand the concepts and secure a decent score sufficient enough to have a good academic record.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, certain departments do provide a LOR for the internship if one wishes to take up one. The stipend depends very much on the organization of internship, meaning it varies.

Placement Experience

5

The college has a special training and placement cell in order to make the student's industry ready and well-suited for a good job with a decent salary package. It also has campus placement options with companies like Wipro coming in the college campus for Campus interviews.

College Events

5

There are a lot of events celebrated in my college. There are various fests organized by different departments. The main and biggest event is Kshitij, which is the cultural fest of Mithibai organized by the Mithibai cultural committee. It is one of the best college fests in Mumbai.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite feasible and easily affordable to the common man. ST-SC and girls have to pay a lower fee compared to the general category. Junior College fees are very low for girls, in fact, it's almost free. Quality education at lower fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, there are quite a few scholarships offered by the college. Although I never availed any, there are scholarships at both junior and degree college level available to the students fulfilling the criteria set for the same.

Campus Life

5

All-around development is something promoted by Mithibai. There is a Girls Common Room, Gymkhana, etc for recreational and extracurricular activities of the students. There is a cultural committee which helps one showcase it's talent on various platforms like Times Fresh Face, etc

Hostel Facilities

5

I would rate the hostel facilities and mess food as excellent as the food providers or the Mithibai Canteen is managed by Aditi Fast food and Amar Juice Centre, one of the renowned food chains in Mumbai. The hostel is very clean and the discipline is amazing.

Alumni/Alumna

Once a Mithibaite, Always a Mithibaite! The alumni network of the college is very strong. A lot of Alumni are sponsors of various fests and events of College as a form of love and affection towards the college.

Exam Structure

The exam structure depends on the curriculum which keeps changing year after year. The junior college and degree college exam structure differs from each other but not very much. Apart from the quarterly and yearly exams, there are weekly class tests so that students are up to date and well-versed with the syllabus.

Admission

It was merit based. The admission process was quite simple. An online form was to be filled and then the shortlisted names would appear in the merit list. I was lucky enough to have my name on that list and then after completing the further procedures I got admission in my dream college.

Faculty

5

The faculty of the college is extremely co-operative and very enthusiastic. Their teaching techniques are well-equipped and modern. Apart from teaching, the non-teaching faculty is generous and humble, always ready to help and at your service. Overall the college has an outstanding faculty, both teaching, and non-teaching.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Parricularly the modules which focused on animal science & botany, the curriculum was built to learn from basics to the advance level towards research area of biology which impressed me alot. The focus on animal biology, statistics, cell biology & genetics, ecology & wildlife conservation, Immunology & biotechnology leads a foundation to successfully enter the real-world and apply this knowledge for better cause of humans as well as animals. As the therotical teaching method can differ from on-hand experience on field there is a need to improve the course curriculum around this issue. The learning period was designed perfectly in-course of the prepaption time between each test and it wasn't difficult if we are well prepared.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.
