Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is Standardized as per RTMNU, Nagpur University. There is a good choice in Elective Subjects. Special courses lile Honours and Minors degrees are also available to make students more industry ready. Regular course subjects are relevant to my field of study.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship opprtunites start arriving from 6th semester. Training program from large companies like Accenture, PwC, Infosys start from 6th Semester itself. Students are also allowed to find Internships off campus.

Placement Experience

Generally, since 6th semester, students are eligible for internships and trainings. College does provide us with Campus Internships and Placements. Training and Placement cell of YCCE is very active and they keep notifying students about the new opportunities and skills they should aquire for placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

Regular fees is around 1,60,000 which decreases every year as the student goes from 1st year to 4th year. So, the fees is actually around 1,50,000 per year. Scholarships are available for Students from reserved categories as well as Economically Backward students.

Campus Life

Annual cultural fest is conducted every year named 'YASH'. Departmental Technical fests are also conducted every year. Hackathon have been conducted a few times. Social and Technical clubs are there including- GDSC, GfG, Astronomy club, Poetry Club, Drama club, Singing Club, Rotract and many more. Overall, student activities are promoted.

Admission

Admission process is completely centralized as per government regulations. Admission can be taken by giving MHT-CET exam or JEE score is also applicable. There's also a quota for Direct Second year admission through which Diploma Students can take admission directly into second year.

Honestly the placement is good in college but student's are not able to get that placement because they don't work on their skills . Then how could college place them although College does their best in placement. Almost 80% students get placement in our college .the highest package last year was 12.5 lakhs per annum. The average Package is almost about 3 lakhs per annum.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in the final year that is 7th semester . A lot of companies visit the campus like TCS , INFOSYS , WIPRO etc batch of 2025 got 363 offers . The highest package was 16 LPA and the avg is 4.37 LPA , placement percentage is 74% . I am planning to opt for MBA after BTECH

The Real Experience: Strengths and Shortcomings of PCCOE

Placement Experience:

The college has a dedicated Training and Placement(T&P) cell and has regular recruitment drives that work to place students in companies where they will be values highly. Each year, 600-700 students are placed from all the branches. More than 300+ companies visit but the ones that hire are limited such as TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, Tech Mahindra which generally are mass recruiters that look for employees that will work for 3LPA or 4.5LPA. The highest packages go to about 30 to 40 LPA domestic and 61 LPA foreign but it is very rare to get a placement like this and requries considerable effort on the side of the student as well. Average package is 7 LPA for CS/IT branch; 5 LPA for electronics and telecommunications branch; 4 LPA for mechanical. My plan after getting the degree is working for 1-2 years while simultaneously pursuing masters.

My experience at Bharati Vidyapeeth.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to apply for placements from the seventh semester. Many Mass recruiters offer jobs to students in our college, some of them being- TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, ICICI Lombard and Capgemini Ai. The average package offered is a around 6LPA and usually the highest package is about 12LPA. Around 65-80% of the students get placed directly from college. I plan to pursue a career in my field after graduation.

•I have applied for most of the autonomous colleges in Maharshtra but in YCCE the placement are comparatively better. I've also applied for Raisoni college and Priyadarshini college of engineering in Nagpur as in nagpur the cost of living is cheaper compared to big cities like pune and Mumbai. •Did not get the rejection from other colleges I just preferred this college above all colleges. •You can take admission through score card of Mht Cet and JEE mains & also through management quota. I want only nagpur college. And the top college of nagpur is Rcoem, ycce and raisoni.
