Likes

The library environment is quite good which provide AC.
Free Wi-Fi is provided in our whole campus area.
There are 3 canteens with good food in it and decent price for students.

Dislikes

There is restriction for the playground specially for the Basketball players.
There is no boys hostel inside the campus area.
There is no 24/7 library provided for college student

Course Curriculum Overview

I would like to rate it 8 out of 10 the teachers and the staff members and the faculty is quite good .Frequently examination are taking place over here after each chapter is over there is a test in each and every subject. High qualified teachers are over here.

The placements are quite decent over here in comparison to other colleges in Kolkata. Average packages for 10 lpa and the highest is 16 lpa on campus. The company that come over here are Wipro ,Infosys, IBM ,Cognizant, Colgate and many more.

Fees and Financial Aid

1st semester-72000 including all miscellaneous fee requirement 2nd semster-44000 3rd and 4th semesters -45100 5th ad th 6th semsters-46200 7th and 8th semester 47300 Available for the students who had qualified the 10th and 12th from West Bengal.

Campus Life

There are lots of club activities done over here like sports drama, music, fashion ,photography, literature social service ,club NSS and more. All kind of books are available for each and every branch. And it is given by the college. Overall sports activities are quite good.

Admission

Admission process is quite easy it is done through wbjee that is West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam. The application is available on the wbjee site from December to January and the examination will be held in April and according to your will be allotted to the eligible branch.

Placement Experience:

Well as far as mh knowledge students get to placements from 6th semester itself . Well there are placement classes from 3rd semester itself . The placement track record of the college is quite good with most year about 90% gets placed with good companies comming like Deloitte, EY GDS , JP MORGAN, Oracle , offering high amount of placement offers like around 20+ lpa . Well I am not sure about my plans maybe if the palacement is good I'll take it or will be preparing for GATE (Whose courses are also provided from college .)

The life in HITK

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

A Deep Dive into JGEC

Placement Experience:

From 4th year the students become eligible for on campus placements. Few companies that visited are BEL which offered 12lpa , wtw which also offered 12lpa , TCS which offered 9 lpa highest, and many more . Highest package offered this year was 54lpa by Microsoft (off campus) . On campus highest was BEL which offered 12 lpa , the average package is around 8 lpa . My plan is to prepare myself for government exams and get a job by the end of my 4th year .

the cirricullum is quite relevent and comprehensive . BTECH program especially CSE includes specializations like data sciene , cybersecurity, IOT, etc . Exams are held twice in a semester . the college could include hand on learning through workshop , industry project and interships .

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

The prosperous and happenning university - West Bengal University of animal and fisheries Sciences

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester student become eligible for the campus placements. Amul(GCMF) , Mother Dairy, Vidya Dairy, Bhagirathi cooperative, Wamul, ITC are the company's visited and they provide good packages according to the students work in interview. After getting the degree I would pursue my hair studies in Mtech Food Technology from IIT or go to MBA course from IIM. My main goal is to get NDRI National Dairy Research Institute which is top institute for imparting dairy and veterinary courses for MTech Dairy Technology. 70 to 80% of the students are being placed and the packages very from 20 lakh per anum to 40 lakh per annum. After getting BTech degree most of the students preferred to go for higher studies and job. Research line is open for our course. Most girls prefer higher studies and research line and most boys prefer for job.
