All about my experience at Tolani maritime institute.

Well I've always wanted to be a sailor and tolani is the best at making sailors so I had to end up here. This course is very helpful as it shows the true colours of the world and makes us a very hard working person. Well there syllabus is very vast so it gets difficult to cover and finish syllabus on time. There are 2 class tests in which one is open book and there is a semester exam at the end of each semester and they are moderate in difficulty.

Well the companies that come here are BW, EPS, Goodwood, Wallem, BP, synergy and many other companies and they offer for cadet ship for 18 months cadet ship is basically when you go for sailing and learn everything about staying in the ship and how things work in the ship.

Well we only have 1 year here so we are placed in the beginning of the year itself. There are many companies like synergy, BW, EPS and have offered 20000-30000. The packages range from 25000-50000. All the students here get placed so it is 100% placement here at tolani maritime institute. After my degree I'll go for cadet ship for 18 months with my company.

Well since this is an upcoming field and more people are getting into it there is a hike in the fees to filter out students. The complete cost of the education is about 780000 for my course including everything. There are scholarships for students who come in the top 40 rank and that money is deducted from their fees.

The major even here is horizon which is a typically conducted in the month of November. Well there are all kinds of books available in the library from science fiction to college textbooks we have everything here. All the classes in the college are fully air conditioned. There are all kinds of sports here like football, squash, basketball, tennis, table, badminton and many more sports could be played here. There are many clubs here for the overall self development of the students some of the clubs are jayagassa which focuses in helping students in need by providing education.

Well all the rooms are provided with all kinds of facilities to live comfortably. The meal quality here is great and there are all kinds of cuisines made in the hostel in rotation so that we can keep tasting different meals all week long. The registration process for the hostels is very easy because it is included in the semester fees and it is pretty affordable and worth it for the value it provides.

Well to get into tolani maritime institute you must have 60% aggregate in PCM in your board exams along with that you should have a good rank in IMUCET which is below 4000 rank and you should clear the TMI exam and interview to get into tolani maritime institute. All the application forms are available in www.tmi.tolani.edu. There are reservations for cadets who belong to SC,ST and OBC category. These exams happen during the month of May and June and are moderate in difficulty. Along with this me being a DNS student I have a sponsorship from another company called synergy. Well the admission process could be very lengthy sometimes.
