Best College for Maritime studies

Good one ragging is prohibited and also had good infrastructure and had hill view from college.

It has semester based studies for students and there are also monthly test taken. All studies are related to our shipping industry focussed briefly onto it. Also very helpful staff and gives 100% placement to respective company ESM. Port visit were arranged for us to see vessel and to gain practical knowledge.

About placement is 100 guaranteed by our college by the day of joining college in its company ESM, Singapore for which we are trained for and taught about our duties on it. First after studies we have to do internships on ships as cadet on it for about 18 months and then after exams we will get jobs confirmation.

Cultural activities were done at a huge level including sports activities having both indoor and outdoor games include chess, carrom, marathon, table tennis, swimming, relay race etc. Awards were given to winners. Then Independence day and Republic day were beautifully celebrated with participation of all student of college where we have to make platoons and have to do March Pass. Cricket match were organised between our batches and the best team were rewarded. After studies Passing out Parade is carried out.

The fee structure is bit expensive for middle class family but college provides breakdown in fees in two semesters. Before addmission fees is RS 50000. FIRST semester is 3. 5 lakhs. Second semester is 2 lakhs. It's fees is only done by online banking or by demand draft in favour of college.

No I haven't opted for any loan. Yeah but our company provides loan to those students who belong to poor families and are not able to pay fees for that test is carried out for them and they ask for your family income proof. It's depend on company can also give 100% scholarship and sometimes depends on student can help him with 50-60% scholarship.

It's complete boys college and no girls but faculty include ladies. There is very large workshop built in it which help in gaining in our practical knowledge. Their is huge diversity in our college as students come from different states, cities to pursue their studies in this college. For entry into this college you have good eyesight not glasses allowed and you must be physically fit.

Hostels were made inside the campus and there are total 6 hostel blocks with occupying alot of students for junior students is type sharing rooms and for senior is separate rooms as it's complete boys hostel we have stay inside it cleanliness is maintained at all times and all equipment are checked according to their requirements and have smoke and fire alarms inside it. In each block there are big LED and also table tennis for entertainment.

Senior are very helpful as they will help in our studies and also help during exams and will teach you a great lesson when you made a mistake infront of them. Will tell you how to tackle situation as they had already gone through it.

My aim was to become Captain of ship. As I have heard from my friend about this college for its excellence as he was senior. For addmission You need to do a PCM that is physics chemistry maths at aggregate of 60% and to have 50% in English in class 12. Then you have to give entrance test for college after that you can appear for IMUCET exam then you have to give interview for the college.

5-6 lectures a day also being delivered by experienced Captain who have alot of experience in shipping industry Briefly explained each and every topic and guide us through their experience and taught us how to tackle in emergency situations. Faculty are available all time during college hours and very helpful in clearing doubts and also focus on practical knowledge rather than therotical knowledge.
