Likes

The notes and class they provide are the best when compared with other college in this field
The engage most of the people in sports activities in-fact there is numerous sports and games held
The amount of money spend for students for studying is not less they could get

Dislikes

Leaves are less when compared with regular colleges and same category of colleges
You might need to travel about 1 hour to get to the college from Pune city
Don’t get enough time to manage keep myself doing my favourite activity and the studies due to tight schedules

The curriculum is prepared by the University is initially not that helpful but it comple the engineering aspect, but taking into consideration about the curriculum when they are geting into the core are realy helpful for the job we have to do

Internships Opportunities

Every students in their last semester are to do internships, some of the compay in which students are placed might take the students to do internships in the ship. These internships are very well excecuted in TMI to get a better quality students

Placement Experience

The company could come in any of the year, but usually start giving placements formn fouth semesters onwards. The top companies like NYK, K-Line, Goodwood, BSM, BP are competing to take the students from TMI

Fees and Financial Aid

The Btech in Maring Engineering have a approximate fees of 25 lakhs for 4 years. This include the tuition fee, hostel fee and others. The scholarships are given to the top 20 performing students. Coming to the placements the students without any blacklock papers can sit for the company interviews

Campus Life

The campus life is not like any other engineering college, we have to follow a strict and disciplined life cycle. The hollidays are the only day where you might be able to go out, other than that we might need special permission to go out of campus

Admission

The students wishing ti take admission should clear IMUCET and they van give for admission via online. The admission procedure include a TMISAT, interview and a psychometric test. The admissions are open one in a year during the month April to July

Faculty

We are able to get very nice facilities for teaching. The teachers involve in activities to encourage the students to complete the papers the most efficient way possible. Have to consider that the faulties teaching here are well experienced.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The part of the curriculum that inspired me to take up this course is definitely applied mathematics as engineering has a lot of math integrated in it and helps the student to improve his/her logic and problem solving skills which are very important in today's job market. Some areas where I'd like the syllabus to improve are NEP related subjects like PPS, Indian Knowledge System etc. These courses are not related to the major but are included because of the New Education Policy(NEP). I feel that most of these courses are a complete waste of time and can be replaced by better courses.

I applied to IMU Kolkata,Mumbai Port campus and Chennai alongwith it I also applied to AMET. I got selected in every college except AMET and I feel that Tolani Maritime Institute provides us with better facilities in every aspects compared to the other colleges I applied for. TMI the best college

I just applied for this college and I guess its much more better than other colleges due to high placement rate better campus environment and reviews from other ex students. Admission process is little bit complicated tho we have to give IMU cet, TMI SAT and TMI interview after clearing all three we have to clear medical then only we get Admissions and its must to have more then 60 percent in 10th and 12th....Read More
