Tolani Maritime Institute offers specialized programs in BSc Nautical Science and Marine Engineering, featuring a faculty composed entirely of retired Navy Captains. The academic structure includes two strict semesters, with exams monitored via cameras to prevent cheating. The BSc Nautical Science program boasts a 100% placement rate, while Marine Engineering has a placement rate of 65% to 70% due to industry challenges. Renowned companies like Stena, TK, Maersk, NYK, BW, Shell, and Chevron recruit from the institute, often offering pre-placement deals.

Graduates typically undergo 18 months of cadetship training on ships, with salary packages ranging from 12 to 15 lakh INR annually. The cost for the programs is approximately 5 lakh INR per annum, with a total educational expense of around 7,80,000 INR. This includes 2.35 lakh INR per semester for academics and an additional 3,00,000 INR for hostel and other amenities.
