Lot of club events and a good exposure to different kinds of events
Extracurricular activities also happen very frequently in my college
Overall experience with a good crowd and good teachers is really nice

Course Curriculum Overview

Put course curriculum is really good and is always changing. By this I mean it changes every year and tries to be on par with the industry requirements. Some of the faculty are really good while some on not so good which is same I guess in every college. But students who are willing to explore new stuff really do have a lot of opportunities as there are a lot of clubs and activities going on in my college. But getting into all these is not easy, one must really be good and have nice skills as there are lot of students waiting to grab opportunities. I must say this having 1500 students in just CSE itself is really too much and sometimes it's very hard for anyone to stand out as there is always a lot of competition in everything

Internships Opportunities

There are a lot of intership opportunities in our college both in campus that is in different clubs of our college and also companies do come to hire students for internships. A skillful student with a good gpa can easily get a really good internship

Placement Experience

Campis placement in our college is really good for CSE students but I am afraid to say it is not the same for other departments. For CSE our college is one of the best in Bengaluru in fact in Karnataka. There are a lot of companies visiting every year

Fees and Financial Aid

I have paid about 112000 out of which 96 thousand was through kcet and 16 thousand was other lab charges and stuff. In that 96 thousand I suppose 45 thousand was tuition fees and the rest were some government fees which I am not sure of. Fees for pessat students was about 3.4 lakhs and for management it was 9lakhs which has increased now.

Campus Life

The campus is not really big but is very well equipped with all kinds of labs and other stuff. There are really world class auditoriums and seminal halls with good wifi facilities. We also have a good library. The classrooms also are very spacious. There are a lot of extracurricular activities like Hackathons sports, musical events fashion shows and Flashmobs which are really good. Our college also has a good social media presence

Admission

I admisssion process was really simple as I got a good rank in KCET(560). I got my seat allotted in the 2nd round of counselling and by the end of all round if I am not wrong the cut off was around 800. This by the way was for general merit students. The admission process through kcet is really simple and I don't think there is any scope for improvement. But yes, in my college kcet students won't have any kinds of introduction to college or something similar to it, we directly start with our classes.

RNSIT : Best college for students

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is very active in our college. Every year more than 30+ companies come to our college for recruitment . Our seniors from 7th semester get placed in many companies and before getting placed in the company our college offers internships to every student. Around 80 % of the students get placed in companies and work efficiently. The average package for civil engineering is 2.5 lakh per annum.

My College Review

Placement Experience:

RIT's placement scenario is very good, even for the most unpopular branches such as Civil Engineering. Starting from the 7th semester, students are allowed to participate in campus recruitment, and companies come to the campus for the entire final year. The major recruiting companies are L&T Construction, Shapoorji Pallonji, Brigade Group, Sobha Developers, Atkins, PWD, and Infosys for the non-core sector. Civil students on an average get ?5–6 LPA as salary, and the highest offer is usually in the range of ?12–15 LPA, depending on the company and the position. Almost 70–80% of Civil students are placed, while some of them go for higher studies or government examination.Site engineer, design engineer, planning engineer, survey engineer, and trainee engineer are the core positions that are offered. Also, non-traditional roles in IT and consulting can be taken up by those who are not interested in core engineering profiles.I will first acquire some work experience in the industry after completing my degree and then will pursue a master's degree in structural engineering to gain further specialization.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

Actually imnin 1st semester so I aks from seniors so they told me highest PKG of cs branch is 86LPA and machenical is 60 LPA they are off campus package and in campus 57 LPA for cse and they also give minor degree courses for placement chance is increased in cs branch 93 % students placed 125 compony visited in college in 2024-25 I plan I get job after b tech if I don't placed in campus so i tried EAE examination.

Honest review from a student who doesn't hate his college but at the same know there are multiple places for improvement

Placement Experience:

Students become elegible for placements from 7th sem onwards but we are encouraged to do internship before final itself. Most of the companies that come here aren't t1 or even t2. Highest probably would be 12L only if the student is exceptional but most would secure a package 4-6. And the percentage of students getting placed is <50%

Placement Experience:

i have 100 percent confidence on myself and the college placement .because it has 95 percent placement in it sector.the students are eligible from 5 or 6 th semester as of there.there are one of good companies who visit our college like amazon, tata, microsoft some years ago google also visited they tries to contact and give placements to students.it has 33 lakh highest and the median is good enough as 12 lakh anually.

Life in PESU

Except PESU I applied for MCC banglore, MSRUAS banglore, Chanakya University banglore and Reva University banglore and got offer letter from all the 4 universities. I choose PESU over the other universities considering fee structure, infrastructure, curriculum, importance give to extra curricular activities, proximity to main parts for the city etc. The admission process in PES is quite simple, first we have to fill an application form, then we will be having an interview. Once we get qualified in the interview we will be asked to pay the seat blocking fee. Then after few weeks we can pay the pending amount later will have to go to the university for documents submission. MBA at PES University

PES University is situated at the silicon valley of India, Bangalore. Its a good choice to apply for MBA at PES as it would give you enough exposure to the industry world. I gave my PGCET exam before applying as the scores are necessary for admission. The university is ranked 76-100 for MBA by NIRF 2021. It's the best B school under VTU.
