desire to getting deep knowledge in electrical engineering attracted me towards this course. cirriculum is very good to prepare one, for real world application in industries, like for my specialization EV market is growing and semiconductor domain is also very good, so here we have liberty to choose elective subjects of other departments also so we can get good opportunity to utilise this NITK plaform. there is a contionus evaluation process in every week there will be a quiz test or seminar will be given to you in order to improve your classroom knowledge

many companies like TEXAS instrument, Analog devices, TATA motors, Tvs motors, Bajaj auto etc they offered internships in power and energy branch which is having their respective stipend 72000, 50000, 25000, 30000, 29000. most of the companies will ask about your basic knowledge of the subjects and your project

In m.tech from 3rd sem students become eligible for placements, almost every type of companies are visiting the campus whole year. placement is almost 95% sure, and average package from 'power and energy system' is almost 12lakh. highest package can go upto 33lac and minimum package can go upto 7lakh. my plan is to get placement in core company this year in 23-24 resession time that is why placements are low as compare to previous years there is placemt cell which is named by 'carieer development center'

total cost of m.tech will be arround 4 lac. students is taking admission by gate exam so they will get 12400 per month scholarship from MHRD, so i dont think any type of financial constraints people will face, internships also you will get offered after 1st year from college so you will have paid by them as well, you are teaching assistant here under alloted professor

campus is very nice, NITK has it is so called private beach, our annual fest is INCIDENT and technical fest is ENGINEER'S which are the most famous fest of india. library facility also very good, we have 2 library here one is open till 5pm evening, and second one is E-Library which is open till 1am night. sports curriculam and enviornment is also very nice, students will get full support from college, and here also many sports activites are going on daily basis. NITK has all types of club facility which all are running by the student support

There are many hostel in campus, everyone can get room inside the campus, recently 3 new hostels were inaugrated by honourable PM of india. yeah no doubt old hostels need some renovation work, there is veg and non veg both type of mess are there, some mess have very good food quality it totally depends on student if he/she does not like a mess, they can change their mess next month

For admission candidate should write GATE exam in their respective branch. application form you can find on CCMT portal which is having application fee 3000rs, portal will open near june. yeah reservation benefits are also there in admission process which you can on website according to your category. GATE exam conducted by IITs once in a year in 1st and 2nd week of feb, difficulty level would be moderate to high deep knowledge and practice of subjects are required
