Course Curriculum Overview

Still, I am in my course duration time till now it has been great for me as I learnt many things. As it is a master's program and my college and I are much focus on lab work for industrial work. No research initiatives were taken till now I don't want to go in that now. The elective was chosen my management and my father.

Internships Opportunities

No, till now college didn't say about any internship program as I am currently pursuing the course I still don't know what rules are for that and if they provide internship average stipend is also given for pursuing students.

Placement Experience

Placement is provided for everyone for undergraduate as well as for post graduate. Every year a lot of students will get placed in undergraduate as well as a postgraduate. Major comp like Robert bosh and others will visit every year. The average package is 5 lakhs per annum for postgraduate students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for government is different and management is different as I am a management student I paid 120000 for college excluding my experiences.

All the faculty members are much more qualified as they are masters in the course and have more experience. They are interactive during lab as well as during lecture time and after the class also they are cooperative. Their standard of teaching is very good as they are having experience in teaching, they clear the doubt of everyone.

A mini heaven on earth called NITK

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Mtech Thermal Engineering because I was interested in thermal subjects like Fluid mechanics, Heat transfer, CFD. The Curriculum is pretty decent and it does covers the fundamentals and advanced topics of the particular subject but it could be better in terms of imparting practical and industrial knowledge. The exams that are held in NITK are competitive and requires a good understanding of the subject. You simply cannot cram and get good marks in exam. You have to know the proper implementation of that particular formula or theory.

I choose this college because of the location and the placements. The college is 45 years old and has a good connection in the industry. The placements are also decent. The location of the college is really beautiful. One will find all the necessities near and around the college itself. I didn't perform well in my jee examinations, but my comedk exam went well, so I came to this college.
