Course Curriculum Overview

There so many co curricular activities happens in our college like quizes, presentation and many more, by participating the curriculum activities we improve aur mass communication skill and we learn so many skills.

Internships Opportunities

We can apply for internship in Many government internship programs like Indian railways, NHRC internship. The stipend of the internship is quite low which is 5000rs to 10000rs . We learn many field works in the internship.

Placement Experience

From 6th semester placement is start for students and are get on campus placement Mostly the companies are visiting aliah University are TCS, Candor, Tech Mahindra, byjus, Asian paints, Axis bank, Kotak Bank etc. Highest package are getting 52 lpa in early 5 years getting 45-50 lpa highest package 55% students get placement My plan is after getting degree to pursue Mtech

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of our university is very low that is 5500 rupees per semester. There are so many scholarships like svmcm, akhya shree and nsp, we can apply for all the above scholarship and the amount of all the scholarships are around 12000 to 18000.

Campus Life

The campus life at Aliah University is amazing, And there many social NGOs like NSS and NCC , which help the poors and after joining these NGOs we learn to serve the poor and needy people. And the infrastructure of Aliah University is good but a little bit of maintenance is needed.

Admission

Minimum marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics in btech required 180 Any information regarding aliah University are available on aliah University website Seats are reserved for foreign students and for SC St tribes Entrance exam is difficult but if the mathematics are good then students are easily clear the entrance because 40 questions are come from mathematics subject exam timings is 3 hours No, admission process is good no need to improve

From Third semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. The companies like P360, EY, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Neutanix, BinaryWorks and few more visited our college for placements and mostly 15 to 20 offers were made Highest package was around 5 to 6 lpa 50% students were placed I am now preparing for govt jobs and side by side also applying for offcampuses. Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 7th sem. The names of comanies visited are TCS, Infosys, Capegimini,Tech mahindra etc. Some students Got 2 offer laters . Highest packages last year was 47 LPA (off Campus) 27LPA ( on campus). Average pakage was 5-6Lpa. The job role is Software Development. Percentage of Students Got placement is 92-95% In my Deoartment. Other is Around 70_90%. My plans to take placement from product based company.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
