Course Curriculum Overview

the course curriculum is private and only thapar works according to it the curriculum prepares well,the subjects are quite informative and it prepares the student well for the placements the exams are quite difficult and frequency of exams is after every 20-25 days

Fees and Financial Aid

the fee structure according to me is little bit expensive and scholarships are provided there are many scholarships for students the student suffering from financial problems can avail good scholarships which can help them in their curriculum

Campus Life

campus Life is quite fun there are many food eating outlets and many places for pass time apart from studies Talking about the clubs,the clubs in thapar I think are more than enough comparing rest of the universities and colleges The infrastructure is also quite well built and is according to the current world design scenario

Admission

the admission process was according to the boards and jee cutoff I'm in electronics and computer engineering and the cutoff for it was 92.5% there was not entrance exam for admission Overall the admission process is satisfactory

Chandigarh University - My experience from fees to social life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good and cover every aspects of learning and skills needed in today's time but it feels the semester get over to fast in around 3.5 months with 3 exams and lab exam. They should provide the real learning based on a student interest some student are good in coding but they lack to communicate better, they should focus on that part also as they also do in many cases by giving subjects like soft skills and communication skills every sem.The teacher should not be reading the ppt only . We can do that also why we are paying that much fees just to learn from a teacher who is just reading the slides.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the course curriculum as largely relevant and fairly comprehensive,. one of the main reasons i chose this course was the balance between conceptual foundations and practical exposure. the curricuum supports future academic growth since many of the modules introduce us to advance topics early, making it easier to explore research. some topics feel slightly outdated and could be aligned better with the current industry skills and technologies. the exam schedule is manageable, though sometimes multiple assessments happen in the same week or same day, ehich adds pressure . Spacing out evaluations a bit more and giving clearer rubrics could improve the overall experience

Honest is the best Policy

I had a really nice percentile of 98.9 in jee mains but what happend is i intentionally wanted to score 69 in boards i didnt know about the 75 percent jee mains criteria i got 69.7 i like to call it 69.69 but i messed up so i applied in vit as well and srm and thapar i got in all of them after giving there respective tests on the same fees but i chose thapar was better after some consultation with my relatives who are in this field and know people in this field i got admission in the end on basis on jee only in thapar and the experience is well...Read More
