Campus was beautiful and we can go to beach at any time and we have night canteens also so we can eat carvings at night and we have good studies facilities in college
Night canteen and beaches was highlights in college
Gardens and mess have good food in college

Dislikes

So hot humid climate in college which is beach affect
We cannot see winter season here only heavy rain only 2 months per year
Hot climate make so thirsty and tan for your skin

Course Curriculum Overview

Course in National institute of technology is very well versed and also helpful for learning technical purposes which includes club activities like IEEE, ACM, ISTE, IET, IE and many co curricular clubs like NSS, NCC.

Course Fees: INR 100210 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities offer in 5 th sem which is on 3rd year of your engineering life. We can get Microsoft Google and texus companies offer internship opportunities we should prepare web dev, app dev, ML and programming language

Placement Experience

Placements are also good in NITK which has average of 15 lakhs and have maximum of 50 lakhs +and this varies for different branches of our college. Companies like Google Microsoft and texus also appeared in placement

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee condition was helpful for EWS and also for SC and ST categories they reduce full tuition fee to zero and for EWS 2/3 money is reduced this was also necessary for education motivation and helpful by this process.

Campus Life

Campus Life has made to learn huge things like club activities NSS camping NCC parades and yoga club Dance drama fashion club ,artists club and many more which we can participate we have private beach in NITK which is beautiful

Hostel Facilities

Hostel faculty gives rented accommodation like three lan switches and we have many messes for veg and nonveg seperate and quality of food is good. We have common room where we can play Table tennis and we can play carrom and also we have TV applied also

Hostel Fee: INR 30760 per year

Admission

Admission process was via jee main exam conducted by NTA board. Jee main was based on percentile and we can find application form in NTA website. Reservation was helpful for people who cannot afford studies and get opportunity to study in dream colleges.

Placement Experience:

We enter the placement at the end of 3rd year almost at 4th year(6th to 7th semester). The placement cell organizes various traning program, including mock interviews, group discussions, and communication skills workshops. Past 3 to 4 years more than 10 companies per year offered hiring 100+ students. But over the year the companies have come down and providing les opportunities. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, etc recruite students from this college. The highest package is 25LPA and the average package is around 6LPA. Due to the increase in the rate of admission, the percentage has been decresed. Almost 25 out of 100 students are getting placed in this college. After getting degree, I will try my level best to get placed in campus itself. If not, I am interested more in Competitive exams, I will focus on it.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th and 7th semester students are eligible gor campus placements. Students are asked to apply for the campus placements from the career development department of the college according to the marks. Some companies visited are like jspider, qspider, Xworkz, kodnest, Infosys, 3 q sutantra, toyota, triveni,idea infinity,edgeverve, eton ,dfm technology, tata elaxi, enventure and many more. And highest package in 8 to 12 LPA. The students are placed according to the companies requiments min 20 students are placed outof 50 students My plan is to get a good, high paying job after completing my graduation.

The Pros and Cons of being a student at MIT Manipal

Placement Experience:

From the7th sem onwards campus placements are put in place for btech students. Many companies such as microsoft, google, BMW, mercedes, accenture and others look for students here. The top 100 of each branch get the highest packages with the average of that being 22lpa for the cce branch. The rest of the students that are placed have an average salary of 14 lpa. Almost all the students are placed with the placement rate being around 90% for my branch. I plan on working for 2 years after getting placed and then pursuing an MBa degree abroad to further my tenure as a valuable asset to whatever company takes me under their wing.

LIFE AT NITK

I had applied for other IITs & NITs with different branches like IIT GUWAHATI and IIT BHU ,IIT ROORKEE,NIT TRICHY as i wasn't able to clear the cutoff according to their requirements i got NITK SURATHKAL which was the best that i got i choosed the other colleges because of their higher placement records more average salary packages and the most OG thing is that i wanted the IITian tag but i had also got a seat allocated in IIT BHU in metallurgy but i didnt wanted to take it and finally i chose NITK SURAATHKAL because it near to my hometown Banglore and the weather is very good there it has a privatre beach along with a light house many places to visit around NITK SURATHKAL mainly a very big campus of aroung 300 acres and multiple number of sports opportunities it has 2 gym . Great campus life with good placement and private beach, a place like heaven for engineering

nitk- a college you can go for

This was the best college i could get with my jee rank. so i chose it, i was also interested in electronics. also location of college was convenient for me for travel to home. to get National Institute of Technology Karnataka u need a really good score in JEE (easier said than done), reservation also play a role whether u get your prefred college. there is also luck involved in the paper that u got for your mains. with a rank below 10k you can get this college. higher the rank better the branch you can apply for.
