The course curriculum of this college is very good the syllabus is based upon a knockout board which is affiliated to the AICTE government of West Bengal the faculty members of this college are very good they are mostly graduated from top government universities

The placements of this college is pretty good as compared to the high expensive colleges because this college has a good Aarohi which is return on investment this college has approximately the base salary or the average a CTC offered to the students during placement is about 6 lakhs and the median package where is from department to department that is from 5 to 8 lakhs the highest package gone from this colleges 55 lakhs in Amazon which is an on of campus placement

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of the college is very minimal it roughly around 4 lakhs for 4 years and admission fees of 70000 approx and if you opt for hostels most probably it is 30000 and what fooding it is also 30000 year the fees of this college is regulated by MAKAUT board which is affiliated to AICTE and is controlled by the government of West Bengal so this college has a very minimum fee for doing BTech courses compared to the other high expensive colleges.

Campus Life

Social life and campus life of this college is very good the staff and the other faculty members and the other members of this college are very helpful and cooperative towards the students, this college has 5 academic buildings one Edwin building 3 hostels and 4 major playgrounds for the outdoor sports and all the staffs in the members of this college are very good.

Admission

In this college you need to get admission through two exams that is WBJEE and JEE mains in WBJEE exam you need to get rank up to 11000 for getting CSE and 22000 for getting ECE departments and the following ranks can be collected from other websites for other different branches and departments.

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Like tcs infosys cognizant ibm Capgemini like companies comes every year with good placement and capsitech gives you internship from 3 year . Placement Experience:

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.
