Our placement noway days is not so got there are lots of startups companies are there but we need more good company

Course Curriculum Overview

I think this course is very popular this time and also i like this course.i know well abou this course and it is most common to get any job regarding this course. Students ratio is pretty much good mostly CSE and ECE department others department is also not verybad Our faculty is helpful and well and good but some people are not so. Qualification and review teaching methods are also well Exam are most frequent and it is difficult to pass sometimes

Actually i am in 6th semester so our placement are not happened yet so i don't know about very well on this topic actually but still i am hearing noway days our placement is not so good there are lots of startups companies come in college but thos TCS, WIPRO,Cabgimini thos type of big companies are not coming in our college which is happening in previous years

After 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements Name of the Companies visited & no of offers made - TCS, WIPRO,Cabgimini I don't know very well because i cannot face yet i am in 6 th sem now but i am hearing the thing is that those companies are visit in previous years but not yer 30% of students getting placement some times after corona plans after the getting the degree offcourse get a job amd work

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is under 50000 for all students there is no other policy... Aikashree scholarship i have and Financial Assistance & Job i got on campus are not happened to me yet so I can't help regarding this topic

the annual fest conducted in February & tech fest conducted in April Class room are also very well mentain and good,also happens sports & extra curricular activities on the campus Facebook group HETC Hooghly engineering and technology college also we got YouTube channel HETC

Admission

Admission to various courses offered at MAKAUT will be done based on the university's entrance examinations i.e. CET, JEMAT, GAT B & PGET. MAKAUT also accepts admissions based on scores in WBJEE, JECA, JEHOM, JELET for various programs. WBJEE 2024 registrations has begun. Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal is a state university established in the year 2001 also known as MAKAUT. The university is formerly known as the West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT). No i can't want to see any improvement in the admission process.it is well and very good.I am very much Thankful for being a part of this university.

Interview Experience

I know the topics of GD, Interview questions or test pattern also but I don't face any interview yet,1st we done our WEBJEE examination the regrading our percentage we are shortlisted also we can get direct admission using our 12th board examination marks

From Third semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. The companies like P360, EY, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Neutanix, BinaryWorks and few more visited our college for placements and mostly 15 to 20 offers were made Highest package was around 5 to 6 lpa 50% students were placed I am now preparing for govt jobs and side by side also applying for offcampuses. Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 7th sem. The names of comanies visited are TCS, Infosys, Capegimini,Tech mahindra etc. Some students Got 2 offer laters . Highest packages last year was 47 LPA (off Campus) 27LPA ( on campus). Average pakage was 5-6Lpa. The job role is Software Development. Percentage of Students Got placement is 92-95% In my Deoartment. Other is Around 70_90%. My plans to take placement from product based company.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
