Likes

Library facility are very good which helps in study.
Game and Fest facility are also so good .
Teaching style of Teachers are best and helping nature.

Dislikes

Food of canteen are not so good and all item are costly.
Wi-Fi facility are also not available in campus.
Acting and dancing clubs not available here.

Course Curriculum Overview

Actually I did this course because I am interested in coding and computer science. Here Teachers behavior are so good , they give proper notes. teachers have MSC or Phd degree holder. Every 6 month semester exam happen.

Placement of this college before this year are so good but at this time Placements are dropped . Due to recession 40 to 50 percent only are placed. I hope placement may better in recent year. Here many company visit like tcs , cognigent, wipro etc

Fees and Financial Aid

This College fees are approx 4 lakh . By adding Hostel and Mess charge it may happen 2 lakh extra. for scholarship their happen Swami vivekanand scholarship , which give 60 thousand per year . But this benifit for West Bengal domicile Student.

Campus Life

Campus life are so good rather than other private college. Here annualy fest are organised like Arcadia , tech fest like Hackathon . Some game clubes are here like Kurokshetra etc. Here Teacher also support for their fests.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility of This college is Above average. Supervisor of college are so strict for attendance. Meal quality are good but yes Home meal taste are diffreent ,which you miss. Here also many Pg available for students.

Hostel Fee: INR 5000 per year

Admission

I Took admission by West Bengal Joint Intrance Examination. Application form will get by their official website. Its fees are approx 500 ? Yes , here reservation benefit for domicile student ,for TFW students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant and useful for us.They teach data structures algorithm that is very important for college placements and they also teach os, networks and other usefull things that is very important in computer science.They provide very high quality labs and the whole college has a good internet connection.Tecahers are very educated and good they helps us and teaching in very good way .The exams time schedule is also very good if there is any problem the college will change the exam date that is really a good thing.

Story of hit

Placement Experience:

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Like tcs infosys cognizant ibm Capgemini like companies comes every year with good placement and capsitech gives you internship from 3 year . From 7th sem you are eligible for campus placement in 2025 the avg package is 5-7 lpa and Highest lpa is 75lpa . My plan is getting good job in good company

Placement Experience:

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.

1)I applied to TMSL and heritage insitute of technology but i choose AOT over them because in tmsl there are no hostels and in heritage i got ece. 2)Admission to our college is through wbjee, jee mains,JELET (for lateral). no need to worry about admission process you just need all require documents and proofs to get admission. 3)From heritage i got rejection because i don't get cse there.(my rank was 10k). 4)mostly students came here through wbjee in 2025 cutoff of cse this year was approx 30 to 35k....Read More
