Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very good and well maintained by the MAKAUT University. The teachers of this college is very helpful to us. All the teachers did completed their PHDs. The exam are conducted in semester basis i.e, in an interval of 6 months.

Class Size: 20Course Fees: INR 6000 per year

Placement Experience

The placement of our college is of moderate level. More than 75 percent students are get placed from the campus placement. TCS, WIPRO, COGNIZANT, WOOD, L&T etc are the companies that came into our campus. They provide an average package of 4LPA at starting.

Fees and Financial Aid

When I took admission I had to pay 6113 ruppes as admission fees. After that from next semester I had to pay 3486 ruppes. For exam I he to pay 1200 ruppes. I had applied for SVMCM scholarship and I got a total of 60 thousands in a year. Our college also provides campus placement.

Campus Life

The campus is so beautiful, so elegant just looking like a wow. The campus is very big (75 acres). It is situated away from the city so no much pollution here. The campus has its NSS unit which conducts several social activities. The college has 13 different clubs.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel room is good enough. The room are looks like new. Hostel provides free WiFi and GYM facilities. Hostel gives food two times daily. The food is of average quality. Hostel has several games. Conducts competition among students.

Hostel Fee: INR 24000 per year

Admission

First I completed my Diploma then I give JELET exam. Based on the rank secured in the exam I took admission into this college. For admission you also have to give JELET exam. The exam form is available at WBJEE website. The cut-off for this college is round 150GMR.

Story of hit

Placement Experience:

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Like tcs infosys cognizant ibm Capgemini like companies comes every year with good placement and capsitech gives you internship from 3 year . From 7th sem you are eligible for campus placement in 2025 the avg package is 5-7 lpa and Highest lpa is 75lpa . My plan is getting good job in good company

Placement Experience:

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.

I gave West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination in 2024. I scored a decent rank but due to high cut off of this year I didn't get good branch in Jadavpur University.
