Course Curriculum Overview

I have little interest in electronics devices , so that I choose this course, here we have well qualified subject wise faculty members , all of them are good and very much supportive. Here we have assignments based test on every month and at the last we have our sem final

Here the course fees 10,373 which is quite affordable, also we have free ship skim , and we can also apply for the Swami Vivekananda scholarship for this. Here we got job offer from core sector as well as from Software sector

We have one fest and fest have a two part espectro and Techtish , and all hostel have there hall day , the main college fest organise is month of March we have one big library name msb (megh nath Saha bhavan). The class room ece is very good we have projecter facility. We have a one sports club name sportix and the college also have 13 clubs .

We have 6 hostels , 5 boys hostel and one 1 ladies hostel, the name of each hostel is RRR (RAJA RAMMOHAN RAY HALL),VC ,RBC (RISHI BANKIM CHANDRA HALL), MTECH HOSTEL,APC AND LADIES HOSTEL NAME PC(PRITILATA CHATRINIVAS) .

Here we have to give the WBJEE entrance test , after ranked in it , then we have to go through the process of counciling , then after getting the allocation , we have to reserve out seats in that particular college and net admission,

Story of hit

Placement Experience:

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Like tcs infosys cognizant ibm Capgemini like companies comes every year with good placement and capsitech gives you internship from 3 year . From 7th sem you are eligible for campus placement in 2025 the avg package is 5-7 lpa and Highest lpa is 75lpa . My plan is getting good job in good company

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.

I gave West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination in 2024. I scored a decent rank but due to high cut off of this year I didn't get good branch in Jadavpur University.
