Course Curriculum Overview
From my childhood i had interest in computer related topics. Then i decide for pursuing Engineering. Recently i completed diploma after that i took admission into this course. Here enough faculties are available. They are highly qualified. Exams are conducted on Semester basis.
Internships Opportunities
The students are gets their internships from 3rd year. They get internship fromvarious companies. Some of the companies from where students got internships are CESC, AMAZON, MICROSOFT, SHARECHAT, NVIDIA etc. They get a stipend of 40 thousands per month.
Placement Experience
Students are becomes eligible for campus placement from seventh semester. The companies that visits our campus are TCS, INFOSYS, L&T, AMAZON etc. The highest package offered is of 42Lakhs per year. Almost more than 75% of students are get placed from campus placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
Here price hike is not applied as it is a Government Engineering College. The tution fee also gets free if someone applied for West Bengal Fee Waiver Scheme (WBFS). During study students gets various scholarships like Oasis, Svmcm, Aikashree etc. Svmcm gives 60 thousands per year.
Campus Life
Every year one annual fest is conducted in our campus. The name of the annual fest is ESPECTRO, which is basically conducted in the month of march. ESPECTRO has two parts one is cultural part and another one is technical part. The Cultural part name is EXOTICA and the technical part name is TACTIX. One library is available here. Which has enough number of books. Here several clubs are presents.
Hostel Facilities
In hostel four students are accomodated in a room. The room are in good condition, looks like new. But the meal quality is very poor. The meal is given two timws daily. One at Morning and another is at Night. For getting hostel you have to fill the hostel form and pay the fees.
Admission
For pursuing B.Tech one need to complete their 12th or Diploma. Then He or She have/has to give WBJEE or JELET exam. That's all for being eligible. The application form for the exam is available at the WBJEE official website. Here reservation quota like ST, SC, OBC are available.
Interview Experience
The college did not conduct any Group Discussion or Interview itself at the time of Admission. The admission is fully based on the merit rank as secured in Joint Entrance Exam. For admission you have to clear WBJEE or JELET with good rank and then do your councelling.
