Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen because in this course one can gain knowledge of many subjects and one can go a long way The faculty members are very good and a lot of help is available from them Students olso very helpful Teachers are very high educated They are very helpful After 6months our exams are held It's medium difficult to pass the examination But teachers olso help to gave questions bank in every subjects

Internships Opportunities

TCS, Wipro, cognizant and many more companies visited regularly and offered well known posts. Average package was 3 LPA and Highest package was 35 LPA, Overall internship opportunities is quite good and well.

Placement Experience

From 6th semester, students are eligible to give the placement opportunities. TCS, Wipro, cognizant etc companies visited regularly Highest package offered was 43 LPA by Amazon and average package was 3.5 LPA.

Total fees 3,10000 And Evey sem we paid 41 or 40 thousands onwards If you paid mony from loan this is available from these colleges In Academy Of Technology placement are very good Min stipend 2,5lac in year package

Campus Life

Annual fest named Arcadia conducted in the month of March and April. Library is full of books and journals. Class rooms are very neat and clean. Ingenium and students chapters are the students association run by students.

Eligibility 10+2, 75% in 10th on West Bengal bord Application form, tentative feed, application date on Portal Of Academiy Of Technology Website Reservation benifits not applied here mostly It's very satisfying the admission process Teachers are very humbly and helpful from admission period.

Story of hit

Placement Experience:

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Like tcs infosys cognizant ibm Capgemini like companies comes every year with good placement and capsitech gives you internship from 3 year . From 7th sem you are eligible for campus placement in 2025 the avg package is 5-7 lpa and Highest lpa is 75lpa . My plan is getting good job in good company

Placement Experience:

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.

1)I applied to TMSL and heritage insitute of technology but i choose AOT over them because in tmsl there are no hostels and in heritage i got ece. 2)Admission to our college is through wbjee, jee mains,JELET (for lateral). no need to worry about admission process you just need all require documents and proofs to get admission. 3)From heritage i got rejection because i don't get cse there.(my rank was 10k). 4)mostly students came here through wbjee in 2025 cutoff of cse this year was approx 30 to 35k....Read More
