Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because i found it interesting and rarely opted by general students, there would be future vacancies in this course for jobs the faculty student ration would be 6:1 and the faculty is well educated and trained

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 21000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is too tragic and not simple they are charging exam fees in the admission fees plus they are asking for it while filling exam forms too so there is a flaw in it. Plus the cost of living in delhi bit higher too

Campus Life

There are many annual fests in the colleges and the whole university and the amount of tech fest and food fest are too high. The library is perfectly resourced and the there are most the material you'll need to find

Hostel Facilities

The hostel was perfect the food provided were awesome both veg non veg meals at the hansraj hostel were brilliant till 2020 don't know about it now. You'll suffer in the summer but there would be a cooler you can buy and install

Hostel Fee: INR 90000 per year

Admission

Admission process through CUET but got admission via merit list, the form is available on the Delhi university website and without availing reservation benefits i got admission, there should've been some concession in the admission fees

M.A. POLITICAL SCIENCE IN DRC

Likes

We don't have classes in our respective colleges in masters . We have our classes in faculty of social science which is just opposite to drc building and the good thing is all students around 300 of study in same class together .
Great infrastructure, ac installed in the fss and satyakam building.
Highly qualified faculty and helpful throughout the course.

Dislikes

Since our classes are held in faculty of social sciences building and not in respective colleges so we don't get to experience the exposure of our colleges .
But what I have seen in drc while visiting for documentation work, the infrastructure is not really great and but they are building new ones and trying to make in better.
Fee is too high compared to other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of our course offers various branches of political science, like comparative politics, political theory, international relations, security studies, gender and ir, public administration, indian polity , social exclusion, etc which enriches your understanding of the domestic and international politics.

Faculty is very cooperative and they help you if you finding problems related to academic issues
Our lectures venue is at department which are in north campus and south campus.in college there is no social interaction for masters students.
faculty experience is quite good ,its like average

Dislikes

Washroom of college is not so good and also playground is also small for playing cricket
No social interaction in college because our all classes are held at departments
You also don’t know about what activities or extra curricular activity are going on college.

The study material of delhi university in political science In which it follows the syllabus mostly of Cambridge University. Readings are only available in English in which many difficulties are faced by hindi medium students .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for this course as I was interested in International relations and it's one of the best universities for the same. Teachers are excellent and with fewer few students, the faculty gives attention to each one of the students. One needs to pay thorough attention in class to pass the term exam. All teachers are well qualified and have excellent research experiences.

Remarks:

The management is very efficient and helpful. Though after the expansion in number of seats, there is some problem faced by students in the first semester, the administration tries it's best to make the experience pleasant for everyone.
