Academy of Technology college review

It is a good private engineering college among all private engineering college in west bengal with low fees. As my rank is not enough to get a goverment engineering college ,so i take admission in this college(CSBS branch). There is enough faculties in our college< ratio being 1:45. Most of the faculty are M.TECH, PHD holders and they are very friendly and their teachis skill is good. There are two semester exams are conducted for upto four years. The semester exams is a bit difficult.

I am not so aware about the internship oppertunities but i know many companies are companies are came for internships with stipend.As i am the 1st year student in this college ,so i dont do any projects.

From the 7 th semester students become eligible for campus placements.Many reputed companies visited like TCS Wipro Cognizant Capgemini etc are visited the college for campus placement.The average pacage is around 4 lpa .Almost 75% student placed every year. My plans to get a job after getting the degree .

Recenty the course fees saw a hike of almost 10%. The semester fees rose from 41000 to 50000 . Now every semester fees are 50000 and the total cost to study is 423200. As my parent not being a goverment servent , i get the Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Scholership (SVMCM).

Arcadia is the anual fest of our college and it takes place in the month of april. They conducted many tech fests ,GDSC and Rescourcio being the prime contributor . The availability of books and journals are not good in the library . The classrooms are not good as well. Thre are sports facilities like Volleybol, Basketball,Foootball and cricket.

I had taken admission in this college throuh wbjee exam and i secured rank 15324. you get admission through wbjee and jee main exam. after councilling process you will get your selected branch.1st sem admission fees is 73200.
