Course Curriculum Overview

This course is tough one but it is interisting. It is a very challenging one. The faculty members are good and helpful. All the faculty members are phd qualified. There are 4 CAs are taken, and they are very easy to pass

Class Size: 20Course Fees: INR 113000 per year

Placement Experience

From 7th sem students are able for campus placements. There are many companies are visited like TCS, Wipro, Amazon, Asenture, ETC. Students get hight packege of 30 lakh per anam, Maximum students are placed. I opt for esc exam

Fees and Financial Aid

When we took the admission the fees is 4.84l but now it hikes like hell, the fees are hikes year by year, but we have nothing to do. The eligible students are get SMVC scollarship. From this college the overall students are get jobs.

Campus Life

The campus life is very good and you will enjoy your 4 year. There are may club in college and they arrange the fests. In the college there are a very big general library, and there are planty of books. The class rooms are fully air controlled. Projectors are there and also many amenities. College is arrange anual sports events. In the college there sre many club like ROTARACT, Sargam, megatronics

Admission

the process of admission is very smooth and easy. I gave wb joint examination. Then by the rank score I chose this college. This college is very good in tarms of faculty, teaching experiences, placements, etc.

Placement Experience:

Placement are average like any other private colleges. Don't expect too much. Average package is like 5 lpa .But since it is in saltlake which is the it hub of North East we have plenty of options to apply for offcampus of no placement is given in college.

Placement Experience:

The college has a very professional Training and Placement committee. Companies like TCS, Capgemini, Accenture, Wipro visit the college for placement. My department (ECE) has an average of 7LPA. Last year the highest pakage was 85 LPA which was secured by one of our esteemed seniors in JP Morgan Chase. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon also visit our college for placements. The only disadvantage is maximum of these companies are visiting for mass recruit profiles. I plan to go for an MS in USA after securing my degree.

The college lowdown

Placement Experience:

From 6th and 7th Semester students get eligible for campus placements. The companies that visit are TCS,. Cognizant, Dell, intel, Amazon, Microsoft, McAfee, Hp etc 70% plus gets placed every year. Students must maintain a cgpa above 7 to be eligible for campus placements. After getting a degree I want to develop my career as a software engineer and product manager.

Survival Guide of NIT Durgapur

Placement Experience:

Placements at NIT Durgapur are phenomenal. Students are eligible for placements from 6th semester onwards. Some of the visiting companies include Microsoft, Apple, and JPMC. They offer attractive packages to students, with the highest placement being 50 LPA. The average placement for all the students is around 11LPA. For branches like CSE, ECE and EEE, the average is consistently above 16-17 LPA. The placement percentage is around 80% for CSE students. My plans after getting the degree will be to work in the industry for 1-2 years and then proceed to higher studies abroad.

From Classrooms to Careers

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. There have been quite a few companies that have visited the campus like Nutanix, Accenture, Deloitte, EY GDS, IBM, etc. Variable packages ranging from 4-11lpa have been offered. Till now the percentage of students getting placements is relatively low.

Good college

The college is very good at everything except that it has a little small campus and average placement. The wifi problem was solved too this year thanks to our new director. Overall the college management is very good. MSIT is currently the only ragging-free college in Kolkata.
